Kimberbell Mini Quilt April Part 4 March 4, 2024
Join Jan in creating the Kimberbell Mini Quilts, Volume 1: January-June. Each month I will guide you through the embroidery and assembly of these adorable 12" x 12" quilts. Stitch each block on your embroidery machine, add optional background quilting (sold separately) , and sew the blocks together on your sewing machine! In this video (part 4) we will assemble the Mini Quilt, add the backing and hanging sleeve, attach the binding, and add the Dimensional Flowers. Get ready for a year of fun with Jan and Kimberbell Mini Quilts!

Jan, thank you for your video for April’s mini-quilt!! The reverse appliqué was confusing and I had tried some sample blocks too with scraps, but they just didn’t seem right to me. My brain cells finally clicked on what I was doing wrong but only after watching Part 2 twice!!! And my little 5 year old grandson saw nothing wrong with my sample blocks so he now has what he thinks are “perfect”. You are now my go to for videos!! Thank you again!!!

I bought the cd but only have a 5 X 7 hoop I must have misunderstood because it said 5 X 7 and larger I though that it could all be done in a 5 X 7 hoop some of the months I can not do but can use my scan n cut and make the block and sew then on my sewing machine does it come with a cut file for the scan n cut machine I did not received my cd yet I just order it two days ago I watched January snowmen I can do that one in my 5 X 7 thank you enjoy watching you made it look easy

Hi Donna! You can do most of these blocks in a 5x7 hoop, as they have separate instructions for multiple hoopings. It's a little harder with the quilting, but you can work around the smaller hoop.
