Honestly, I find it all unbelievable. But me being a common user who just wants to rig and animate, I still find it very complicated. I hope side fx will make training available for the general public. Because right now it seems to me limited only to genius with an outstanding QI.

Great talk, Bogdan! I've been following you since you first published your sun simulation tutorial in Houdini. I love your approach to problem solving. It's clear and easy to folow without being simplistic and always based in the observable ground truth, which is the Holy Grail of VFX. Thank you for continuing to generously share your knowledge. Ok, this surely is a stupid question, but someone has to ask it. If I heard correctly, you only need to train the model once, and then you can use it in other projects... so, we don't have to learn how to do this bc u can provide the trained models for us to use it?

I'm amazed at the number of people who show up asking for HIP project files. My God, stop being lazy, watch the video and learn how to do it, the value is not in the digital files, the value is in the shared knowledge!

@@vincestevenson9430 Ok, sorry, allow me to relax the tension, I may have exaggerated, I only watched the video here and the description, I was under the impression that it was made available to the event participants because the presenter speaks during it. There is no mention in the video description. Anyway, I suggest anyone who liked it try it on their own, I've already done this with other subjects and it's an incredible experience, you build more solid knowledge. Houdini is an amazing piece of software, I really hope it stays in the hands of SideFX forever, and doesn't suffer fates like ZBrush. Have a great day everyone and good creations!
