King Motor Baja break in. I got her out last weekend to do some break in runs. I got it used, but it literally looked like it had never been run. No dirt, no scrapes on plastic or chassis. Looked like it just came out of the box. So to be safe I treated the motor like it had not been broken in yet. Ton of fun, but I did have some breakage right off the bat.

Yeah its been running great! Only issue I have been having is with dog bone pins. Have tried 2 brands now and they just break after about 2 tanks of gas.

Do you think it could be a geometry issue? Like maybe the angle gets extreme and they bind? That's so weird!

No, the pins are flattening out. Like they just cant take the pressure. The drive cups just flatten them.

SSSIIIIICCKKK! I'VE HAD 1 FOR ABOUT 2 MONTHS NOW AND I STILL HAVEN'T STARTED IT/BROKE IT IN!! GOTTA BUNCH O' BITCHY NEIGHBORS AND A TON OF ELECTRICS TO RUN. :/ SO I WATCH OTHER PPL'S VIDEO'S OF THEIR RUNS!! HAHA. COOL THO BRO!!

You must of got a bad batch. I have the same baja, same brand make model, and it has gone through hell and back, ran it like I stole it, covered in mud etc, and never had any dog bones failure. I highly recommend reinforce the drivetrain w DDM parts, not HPI. Its a reliable buggy, after a year of owning mine and sti have the original drive train Go to largescaleforums to know more about upgrades. Swap to the dom pipe, NIGHT AND DAY difference.

Crespo RC yeah that factory failsafe is garbage it won't cut the engine off just hit the brakes...get killer bee kill switch from KillerRC.com

Rc Guy it was fast. But it broke allot of dog bones. I traded it away. Have a Losi 5T now.

Its pretty awesome. I got it for a really great deal. Only problems I had was the dog bones. The pins broke a lot, but I kept extras around. It is a really fun car though yes.

@@salmenda Its really not too bad. Little more cleaning involved of course, and filter maintenance, but that is about the worst of it. The motors really hold up nicely. Once you know how to tune the carb, they run very nicely.
