With all my Heart I miss you Arctic Cat....when you were the tiny little builder fighting against massive manufacturers....I miss you- you all American making my massive wheelers that were monsters rewriting the laws of ability, the worse the conditions and terrain grew the stronger an faster they grew. I still have my original 2008 thundercat ATV, even I hated them using the name as that's the sleds legendary name, I baby here and let her sit safely in the garage as we will never see another monster like here ever again unfortunately. Fuck man look how awful Textron is doing with Arctic Cat, honestly I mean WTF??? They go from the thundercat, f7 sleds, thundercat, mudpro wheelers the huge fullsize frames massive suspension and the best ground clearance. Besides when they cut out the top members of the middle engine cradle then put in whatever would work really fast to fit the old Kawasaki Vtwin the 650H2 model which was widely known as weak. Besides that single model the real American Arctic Cats were fckn bulletproof. They really did more in the past couple decades to push the development and capability of these machines more than anyone. Look at v twin for the 1000 ATV, mine being the heavy duty but very heavy 951cc original (besides the crankcase sealant used which half did infact leak) they were extremely reliable, and made that huge Arctic Cat chassis the fastest, sporty, most insane money could buy. Then dropped into the XTX prowler, made that UTV the most insane. Then the unbelievable, unrivalled for years Wildcat... Also the new catagory they along created too called the Mudpro. Fck man even my uncle Fran who was late 50's at the time bought one lol they where incredible. Now Textron seems to be doing absolutely nothing besides raping our beloved, all American Arctic Cat for every dollar they're worth.... Textron I can only pray you're able to ready this post, and read the atmosphere from us FORMER devoted buyers/fans of Arctic Cat! Perhaps bring back the guy/guys who created all the original Arctic cat machines/legends back then originally. But give them the most advanced manufacturing/technology available. And you can still have your financial men who wear women's clothing, high heels and make-up still keep the guys within the cost/financial gain margins!! Seriously I understand locking in more networking/dealers was needed and you did just that using the tracker brand, with no matter what fixed pricing and well done very good idea. But you city boys are loosing us who spent our hard earned money on your machines, we are the original guys who promoted Arctic Cat as we pulled other home, made it up over and thru what no one else could therefore others bought the brand. Textron you really do, you have to man the fck up like really, really soon. No more of squeezing the brand for every penny, you must bring back the guys who created the legend. As of now you fckng guys are lost, you have no idea who the fck you are, what direction you're going in or what type of this or that. Wake the fuck up, get those guys back and give them what YOU are capable of Textron, you're one of the best in the entire world and look at what you're doing with Arctic Cat....I mean honestly you proud of that stale useless line up??? How about making a true side by side, like the Prowler XTX. But make it heavier duty, same if not similar 951cc 1000 Vtwin. But give us what we all want, a 5 or 6 speed MANUAL with a real clutch pedal on the floor. Make the model available with a solid rear Axle, another with huge heavy duty independent suspension. Keep the 2wd, 4wd then 4wd with front diff lock. Build it for slow technical east coast trail crawling, top speed of 50-60mph with machine like that would be excellent. Make it a 4seater much like the Yamaha Rmax4 1000. Then for the working crowd like farmers, the solid axle model have all the same power train, gear ratios just change the rear end, maybe boost payload abit. But by starting with massive overkill wheel bearings, ball joints tierods, frame, a arms and control arms the machine would be heavy for sure, but save where practical. It would be bought in droves by hard workers, by use who do the real technical trail crawls, and trail cruising. We spend a lot of money so you would make your money back massively. Most importantly you would actually gain back RESPECT and you'd finally have a direction to bring the company in
