Kingdom Rush Vengeance is a controversial game in the Kingdom Rush series and is considered to be the worst game in the series by many fans. Some of the most dedicated and hardcore fans of the series came together to create a fantastic gameplay overhaul mod: Kingdom Rush Revengeance. Nearly everything from towers, heroes, enemies, mechanics and more got changed, if not reworked in some cases. Are you ready to assist Vez'nan in his... Revengeance against King Denas?

This feels like PvZ2 Project Eclise all over again; it’s another mod for a relatively underwhelming game in an amazing tower defense franchise that fully realizes that game’s potential. Huge props to the modders who spend their free time on high-quality passion projects that we can enjoy!

I like how it didn't necessarily make the game a whole lot harder (Pokemon ROM Hacks come to mind a lot), but it gave you a lot more options.

This mod nakes so many quality of life changes, but by far the most important change was the larger and faster waves, vengeances biggest flaw was how comically slow it was

True. I finished all 3 previous games (haven't 100% the first one yet, postgame iron levels be hard af) but I got bored halfway through Vengeance cause every level took so long.

When you did the teaser I was expecting you to do vengeance barracks only (which still would be neat) but this is way better. I really liked vengeance, but hated only using some towers when the gimmick is the ability to choose.

Probably a case of "You shouldn't have to use Conduct% to give the game a fighting chance", the biggest downfall I can think of for Shining Pearl. Then again, even if I didn't get too much EXP in SP despite running from things I didn't want to catch, that series' accuracy/evasion stage system should be reworked into a crit chance/resilience stage system so you can't just cheese everything with Smokescreen _(I'm looking right at you, Explorers of Time!)_ And if you're wondering how negative crit stages would work? Glancing hits, which deal 1/2 to 2/3 damage and get an increased impact from . ...I derailed myself there. Sorry.

would it be possible for you to attempt doing a barrack only challenge in revengeance? i think all of us at this point knows about cozynez's barrack only challenge in vengeance but i'm really interested if its actually possible to do the same in revengeance. probably not considering the huge amount of changes done to the waves in the game (and also the tutorial level having a troll unit) but hey, you never know?

When I buy Kingdom Rush Vengeance, I'm probably going to end up getting the mod ASAP. This just looks way, WAY more fun. I don't want to use community reception as an excuse, but the general consensus is that it abandons a lot of what actually makes me really like the Kingdom Rush games to the point it'd just feel awkward and weird to play, especially since they made a whole tower type completely useless (the artillery, which in the first 2 games was usually a necessity for groups).

Has this mod just made Gerald literally unkillable? He doesn't heal a few hundred hp each time, he heals a few thousand hp. And always does it just as he's about to die. And this is even on Casual.

I think im the only one who actually likes Kingdom Rush Vengeance, yeah i know the game have a lot of in-app purchases but i really like the thing of playing as the villain and wreck all the heroes around, but man, even if you need to pay to play the game and STILL pay to get acess to the towers and heroes, it's a fun game

Cries in mobile. My main question is if asra is good now. She's easily my favorite hero in the series, finally nailing the perfect formula for an assassin style hero... And got put in the single worst game for this archetype. Do the wave changes make her more viable?

I never used Asra in vanilla, but in KRRV I found her poison (practically instakill) and armor-shatter to be hugely useful.

@@Shyguymask her big issue in vanilla was that any time having an instakill was worth it there were like 5 other extremely beefy enemies coming right after, severely lowering her effectiveness. Shame as hers is easily the most reliable in the series (effectively 100% chance, can only be triggered in melee combat, can be easily controlled due to her insanely fast teleport), and it would be incredibly useful in other games due to the first large enemies in a stage starting in very small numbers (imagine it on the krf rising tides campaign, would practically reduce the blood shell count by half), so I guess my question is if big enemies still come in large groups like vanilla.

Idk for me is too damn fast and spammy, I feel some mage towers and barracks are nearly useless with the spammy amount of enemies and the usually hated range attack enemy, sometimes you miss the bladesingers or high elven mage towers

This is pretty much an Artillery game. Doom Tank especially & Oloch provide plenty of crowd control among a few other heroes, I mostly relied on those two and artillery towers like War Zeppelin and Rotten Forest to beat most elite stages on 3 stars veteran.
