Hi, I am from Taiwan, and I've got KLP1 ver.210 from China by Taobao , their customer service online everyday with soon response, and you can buy any parts for single include the print head, maybe there's some difference between suppliers.

I've got 2 klp1's (2nd and 3rd gen i guess) They both work fine. 3 gen has quite a few improvements so print quality is really good. Their customer support can be sort of spotty. Great printers for experienced tinkerers considering the price.

what is the difference between the 2nd and the 3rd gen? and how do I know which one I have?

@ZIonDaWolfo 3rd gen has 230x230x210 build versus 210x210x210. Have a higher gear ratio and pre-drilled hole for their camera add-on.

I have had this thing for about four months and I echo everything you're saying with a caveat - the print head design SUCKS. Changing nozzles is about the worst chore imaginable. It's a 45 minute hassle every time because you have to first take out the induction sensor, then drop the nozzle and retaining pin. Problem, there is NO WAY TO REINSTALL THE PIN AND THE SENSOR REPEATABLY. So it's twenty minutes of screwing around with the pin orientation so that the flats line up with the set screws while holding the nozzle in the correct place, and then once you finally get it you will have to do a Z-calibration, bed mesh leveling, etc. EVERY TIME. Also, don't print PLA or PETG with all the doors closed because you will definitely get heat keep clogging the nozzles. Kingroon sells them in packages of five, that should be a red flag.

I bought the KLP1 on recommendation of several different reviews. Mine has YET to work. I am going to rip out the electronics, toolhead, ETC. Get the stuff for a Voron 0

For me, if it comes from their US warehouse its a week. If its from China which is everything else other than their machine and PLA, it comes from there, its 4+ weeks. The ceramic heater, they finally put up version 2.0 of this on their website, but it doesn't state if it US or China warehouse.

The aux fan is actually for faster printing particularly with pla. As for the problems basically all of these companies cant seem to understand what actually makes Bambulab printers better. Yea they changed the game on speed, but the real boost is the UX. They make pleasant to use printers and sell all the replacement parts with good instructions that ypull probably not even need.

Oh I absolutely understand the aux fan is supposed to be help with PLA but it doesn’t. It just blows air all over the print head and above due to the design (it’s bad). The duct is difficult to print correctly and they don’t even provide details on the orientation it should be printed, which leads into your remark about instructions 🥲. I don’t care about the UX much I’ll take a cheaper printer over that, but basically zero support and insanely long delivery times … they even gave me the wrong tracking numbers.

Ah mine did that once but it was due to filament was all in between the gears. It was a tangled spool and it pulled it through but it resulted in much of the filament getting stuck between the gears. Had to completely disassemble the print head to clean, which is an absolute nightmare.
