Kings Island OPENING DAY 2013 

So much has changed in the past 8 years I love watching your old videos of kings island such a classic.

Tommorrow is opening Day for the 2014 season, bought the whole family Gold Passes and taking my 7 and 8 yr old for the first time... they just reached 48 inches! : ) So it's time to introduce them to them the place That I love Dearly.... First ride is BEAST!!!! : ) LOL

I need to get out to this park. Badly. I'll go in 2015, so that I can get a platinum pass and hit up the giga coaster coming to Carowinds in 2015, as well as stop at Cedar Point.

Dude this video is very impressive. The editing was clean and was well thought out, you hold the camera very steady (even if on a tri-pop) Good job! I work at Knott's Berry Farm and I'll be going to King's Island for my first time next week, and this video made me even more excited than I already was!

Vortex isn't one of my favorites, but I think you'll like it. I'm not a big fan of the restraints. The front seat is pretty cool.

Yes, The Crypt is gone, but the building is now home to a very cool Haunt attraction, Madame Fatale's Cavern of Terror.

I've always kind of hated Firehawk, even though my fear is pretty irrational. I always feel like the buckle holding my torso in place isn't going to hold. That's why I grip the handles for dear life.

honest opinion the 2 minute ride on the bat isnt worth the walking you do just to get to it since its back in the woods of the park

Went for the first time last summer and can't wait to go again maybe this time I'll get to ride the Fire Hawk

I won't be there this year, but I have a couple of friends that might persuade me to go in the near future....we'll see....

They haven't announced anything yet, but I expect they'll be something in the next month or so.

I was there, it was insanely crowded. I went during early ride times and Diamondback had a 50 minute wait!

I've always found it to be a really fun ride. it is a pretty smooth ride

I use a small Sony camcorder (HDR-CX110) that fits in my pocket. It's somewhat expensive, though -- $440. There are cheaper ones out there that are about the same size as mine.

I only saw WindSeeker testing during the 8 hours I was there.

Good video. I wish the kids area was still Nickelodeon, but it's all the same rides so I won't complain too much. You'd think they'd be able to keep the name of the Beastie. I know I'm only in my 20's, but I remember when the Nickolodeon area was a water play area. I was even slimed on one of their shows. Other than that, the park is still pretty good. I never rode Son of Beast (too afraid back then) so I'm looking forward to what they have next.

I was just wondering if you used a iPhone camera for this or another type? I would like to film at kings island too but I don't want to ring a very expensive camera to the park and not a very big heavy one either! Hope you reply! Thank you so much!

I don't really know what the purpose of the tower was other than being a prop for Action Zone (and a place to hang bodies during the Haunt!)

That's still there from the Haunt, but.....it could also be part of the "evil" back there.....

TheVibrantShadow we had fast lane tickets and it wasn't even a minute wait. We just we through the line and got on the ride. I think we rode diamond back like 4 times in a row

It's only open during the Haunt.

You better ride it soon. There's a rumor that says this season is the Vortex's last season of operation. Can't confirm that, though.
