Yesterday I had the Hydra for 3 minutes straight in a 7 minute game and I remember having 8 charge before getting the last piece and by the end of the round I had a bunch more of everything. Of course, charge wasn't the ONLY thing I had, it was just the most important Patch for Hydra. The more charge you have, the faster that guage will fill and the *quicker you can sow absolute destruction upon the island.* Speaking of such destruction, I too, in the same round, forced the only CPU to.... choose something other than a compact star, let's just say.

This is giving me so much nostalgia, looking back at 5 year old me playing this game with my dad, brother and sisters for hours on split screen. Not a care in the world accept who would get the hydra or dragoon first.

Increases the mass of the Machine so it is less prone to being knocked around when damaged. @@PODEPOM Interesting, I remember as a kid intentionally getting -1 weight items to help me do well on the high/long jump games lol. Had no idea back then.
@@PODEPOM There's a video of Hydra with max all stats and -14 weight and it had the same top speed. Not sure what's going on there but the game seemingly caps its speed there.
I actually avoided speed boosting power ups, because this video was made to see just what the standard top speed of Hydra is. I did it because in City trial free mode there's not enough straight road anywhere to find it out.
Normally I can't. I feel that frustration when you're about to get one and it disappears, but this one time I played through the pain and got through without a single speed up. Will it make you feel better if I upload a game where I collect them like normal?
