Kirby Diamond Edition Just Serviced (Literally)

Just fired up my Diamond Edition after spending the day fully servicing it. It has been taken apart and cleaned, polished and had parts replaced where needed. New parts are a headlight bushing, front bearing, gaskets (fan case; horn) motor seal and Tech Drive belt.

Thanks, man! The Diamond is my favorite, also. I like the color of the G4, G5, G6 and Sentria 2, but the color scheme and performance of the Diamond is the best well-rounded, IMHO.

Thats a nice Kirby! i use to have a G3 back in 2010/11 and man what a dependable machine it was! i now have a Classic 3 and Heritage 2 both work flawlessly!

Thanks! The Generation-Avalir 2 models are great machines, but the ones made prior are better from a reliability standpoint. Your Classic 3 and Heritage 2 were some of the best Kirbys ever produced. Not sure if you have seen the RU-vid channel 'Kirby Enthusiast' but check it out if you care to. He has a Classic 3, Heritage 2, Avalir, etc. From the tests he conducts, the vintage machines perform just as well, if not better, than the newer models.
