Fields has only won a single game in his career versus an opponent with an over .500 record. That win didn't even come until late in his third season versus Detroit. That was also his only win versus NFCN opponents. At one point last season Fields had something like one win in 21 starts. He also owns the all-time NFL record for being sacked in a single game with nine total sacks.

Teams win superbowls and Russ had one of the best defenses all time. Kirk is a better player rn than Russ

He’s thrown for 6500 in 40 games and has a 40-30 ratio, he’s not a good passing quarterback, I understand he’s a runner but you have to be an effective thrower to be a good qb still, and he’s shown me personally nothing that says he’s gonna be good

kirk has played with considerable better talent around him and coaching. He has justin Jefferson and had davin cook in his prime years. Fields O-line is trash ha no running game, had no tier one WR until dj moore last season and has had terrible coaching. He also has had 3 Offensive Coordinators his first 3 years in the league. That does play a part in his numbers also, kirk has had way more talent to play around him, not even close. Also kirk first three seasons in the league were not that great either.

Come on, now….Kirk has been making his receivers look good for quite a few years. He had two 1000 yard receivers when he was in Washington. Kirk put up stratospheric numbers in Washington despite having limited weapons. In 2016, he passed for 4,917 yards. None of is pass-catchers were All Pros or Pro Bowlers. In Kirk’s first year with the Vikings, Stefon Diggs had his first season of 1,000 receiving yards (plus his second season). Also, in Kirk’s first year in Minnesota, Adam Thielen is the only player in NFL history to start a season with the most consecutive games with 100+ receiving yards. And with Kirk as their quarterback, Diggs and Thielen gave the Vikings their first pair of 1,000+ yard receivers since Randy Moss and Cris Carter in 2000. And after Justin Jefferson got hurt, Kirk turned Jordan Addison into an immediate starter as he would have easily had a 1000+ yards had Kirk not gotten hurt.

Kirk’s career passer rating is 98.2. which is the 8th highest passer rating in NFL history…..in NFL history. He’s 5th all-time in completion percentage. His passing yards per game also ranks 10th all-time in the history of the NFL. In the 2023 season through three weeks, he was on pace to throw for 6000 yards, 51 TDs, and 9 INTs. If Kirk sustains his current level of efficiency for even three, or four more seasons, he’ll likely be in the top 10 of every major QB category. The way he takes care of his body and actively works to improve himself every season, there’s no reason to think that he won’t.
