@@psych_up3660 did you play the judgment games first or gaiden I personally played gaiden the bought judgment and lost and I thought the combat was great in gaiden it all felt like it flowed very smoothly. I did complete judgment and it felt like a mild downgrade because juggling was much harder and moves felt less flowwy in non ex mode but now I'm on lost and it feels great. I haven't gotten attack boost yet because combos are more fun than killing fast
@@tylerna22I went from kiwami 2 combat to Gaiden and Kiryu just doesn’t feel as smooth, some things are better but agent style as a whole feels kinda half baked and dragon feels too powerful but too stiff aswell
@@cavemanbuddyolpal Yeah, looks like they slowed Dragon's speed and screwed up its bounding throws to make Agent the fast crowd-control style. Maybe to make up for the fact it hits like a freight train now.
I kinda miss Kiryu's OG style feels like kind of a tease how the guy with a fedora and Amon have it but we don't It could work as 3 styles, Yakuza(completely bruiser, beast type), Agent and Dragon
This go crazy wonder if at some point the extrem heat ragdolls will be added if they already are im going to max out multiple credit cards to get a functional gaming PC
Fire vid man, kind of makes me wish gaiden was somewhat similar, not saying that the games combat is bad I enjoy it, but it's not lost judgement tier, I enjoyed it more than yakuza 6 tho.
It’s just the main combo mechanic of the game, like Y3 wall bounding or K1 back massages, tryna keep ppl up while looking cool is p fun and satisfying imo
Yo cuh can u try with the Akiyama mod (Lifeline of Yokohama)? Its pretty cool too and probably one of the best combo mods for LJ and adds alot of reasons to replay the game.
@@hoovyaj its a lengthy topi, but the gist is compared to most mods the hacts and movesets are a bit too undercooked and jank and dont forget the fact most of them are basicly the physical incarnation of a r/yakuzagames user's dream(also both are a bit toxic people so there is that as well...)
I was really hoping Kiryu would get the best RGG combat, don’t get me wrong it’s still a lot more polished than 6 and K2, but it’s kind of a shame that Yagami will go down as having the best combat in an RGG game
I’m only a quarter of a way through Lost Judgment, but is the combat really *that* good? It’s good, but it doesn’t feel like it’s as good as Speed Burst Mode Kiwami, or even Kiwami without Rush Style’s Speed Burst Mode.
@@saulgoodmanskinyes it is that good, there’s a lot of nuances and tech you can learn in LJ that add that extra layer of sauce to it, similar to Godspeed in Kiwami, both combat systems were made by the same combat director too
