update there is one thing that did happened in 2006 and its a particular tv show called Raggs a very good show where the 5 puppies sing with their lovely voices to the children on stage.
That and it didn't have a whole lot of the zany Yakuza humor of today's standards, although they were beginning to experiment with it a little in a few substories.
Last night I had a dream where I was trying to no damage the Infinite Wealth final boss, the guy was surrounded by three fat guys and in order to cheese the fight you had to make Kiryu equip a feather duster that "deals critical hits against fat guys" and time the QTE like the Extreme Heat rush combo in Yakuza 6 to OHKO them, after that you had to use Essence of Pistol to make the boss go to sleep. If you do everything properly the game replaces the music with the a mimir meme and prematurely ends the fight

@@DukeBluedevil70 the most frustrating part is the Heat Action, unlike later Yakuza game, there are some stage-exclusive that you only have one chance and if you miss it you either start the battle from the beginning or do NG+.
@@heisj-bn1my Oh yeah that makes sense. They definitely made the completion list much easier I think as the series went on. Or maybe I just got better at doing it. I think Yakuza 1 has a similar set of rare heat actions like one during the kitchen fight. They were so rare that Kiwami 1 didn’t even bother to remake them and just seemingly used the PS2 animations.
