I am barely a Kiss fan, but this performance was awesome. This shows how good they can be when everyone in the band is playing their instrument, not having that one guy dance around the stage with a guitar and barely play it. Once again, this performance was fantastic.
I don’t know how they can stand being on that revolving stage. The combination of the spinning and the rhythm of the boat would make me SO nauseous. But I guess that’s why they’re KISS and the rest of us are mere mortals.
Nothing wrong with his solo there. A few notes missing, but it got the job done. I read your comment before listening to the solo and was expecting a train wreck. Nope. It was fine.
I think they said "it's hard to believe, but it's actually our song." Alluding to the fact that they're super reluctant to perform songs from The Elder.
I like Bruce's solo to this from unplugged better. Not trying to be a Tommy hater. I always find it interesting who plays what part and how they play it. I wonder if it's totally up to Paul or they decide?
This is how they should have performed since 2005 or so. Forget the make up. It was cool in the 70s and at the reunion tour but the music is what its all about.
@@jamesamante7843 A solid remix of The Elder without the flanger on every song would help this albums power. The flanger takes so much away from this album.
Get Tommy off and you have the heaviest line-up. I love Tommy though despite the fact that he dresses up as Ace which is Paul and Gene's fault at the end of the day.
Zzzz. Every time they do an acoustic show it’s just the same old stuff from Unplugged but with the guitars tuned lower, less rehearsal and Paul sounding worse.
