@@tomkat_Kansas probably but Paul hated his times with ace on the farewell tour. Ace was always drunk. Wasted, behaving like a diva. Unable to learn any new songs.
Peter May be better than Eric Singer and Eric Carr, but Eric Carr was the best drummer of all and Peter was the worst. I’ve been a kiss fan since day one and I know everything about them. That’s just my opinion and I thought I’d stated. If y’all have a different one plz don’t start beef with me. I just am trying to share my thoughts :).
When Peter Criss sings "Cause Me And The Boys Will Be Playing All Night" and the crowd erupts, you can literally see dollar signs pop up on Gene's eyes as he realizes the Reunion tour will be a hit!
I still think this is the only proper version of Beth ever recorded and done justice by the band. The time passes by and I'm more and more convinced of this view.
It's amazing what they did with '2000 man' and 'Beth' in these Unplugged renditions. Makes you wonder what would've come out from the original 4 with such a chemistry but... oh well, there goes 27 years past this. Much like Van Halen at almost the same time in the 90's
Peter Criss and his beautiful voice. One of the best Beth renditions, probably in their entire history. We need to see them one last time with Peter and Ace. The tour to end all tours. I love KISS.
@@gophersnorman202 the smile is genuine, as if he realizes that the fans are happiest with the original group, and that the thing he built is the strongest, most beloved, and the most historically significant with this quartet and this quartet only
Actually... I prefer Eric Carr over Peter Criss. Bruce Kulick over Ace. But I'm biased, that was their lineup when I started to listen to them. So probably biased from here to eternity😅
I am impressed with the voice of peter. Tears…😢I'm Japanese, I don't really understand the meaning of English, but I was moved.I love original members❤
I’ll try to explain it easy. The song is about a rockstar who’s wife calls him while he’s at a concert. It’s talking about the broken relationship because his job takes him away from her. He keeps telling her he’ll be home soon, but at the end he tells her he isn’t coming home that night. It’s a very sad and emotional song
Oh man 🤣🤣🤣 I cry so much lission to this he's so happy :( it sucks to even hear this somtimes B's he's old dude reliving the past and it's sad bc it's so real....
Paul might rip Peter justified or not, but you can’t deny Beth. It shot KISS to superstardom. This was a great rendition. I saw KISS three times. Just the original group.
This performance is incredible! I cry every time. My heart still hurts for Peter to this day. You can tell he is right where he wanted to be all this time and I wish he could have been. Much love to you Paul!
Thanks to Paul for putting this up i do like Peters Drumming I Was Made for Loving You it gets played alot but they got so many Songs in their history along with crazy Kiss merchandise is insane but a classy cool Rock Band can do it and to marvel over it
@@tommccallan8802 that was my take on it as well. almost as if the extra cheers confirmed what the fans had wanted all along at that point. a reunion of the original lineup.
LISTENING TO THIS TODAY, BRINGS A TEAR TO MY EYE, LAMENTING DAYS GONE BY, WHEN THE WORLD WAS RIGHT, LISTENING TO KISS ALL NIGHT... NOTHING LAST'S FOREVER, SURE KISS WILL, PAUL, GENE, PETER, AND ACE, WILL CONTINUE TO GIVE US A THRILL. MISSING YOU GUY'S SO MUCH, THE SONGS, THE MUSIC, THE LAUGHTER, AND JOY, THE DAYS OF MY YOUTH LISTENING TO YOU BOYS. WISHING U ALL THE BEST, WITH A HUG, AND A KISS! : ) xo
Ace will always be one of the best because even though he couldn’t read music and had no formal training it, he could just “feel it”. That’s what made him great.
My second daughter was named after the song Beth and she passed away three years ago I still love her very much and this is her so I hope you enjoyed as much as I do
I love how Peter sings I listened to that song when I was a little girl and I still melt every time I hear it .. God Bless You as well Peter ❤️..thank you for bringing out that beautiful voice and your lovely personality
Beth I hear you calling But I can't come home right now Cause me and the boys are playing But we just can't find the sound Just a few more hours And I'll be right home to you I think I hear them calling Oh Beth what can I do Beth what can I do You say you feel so empty That our house just ain't our home I'm always somewhere else And you're always there alone Just a few more hours And I'll be right home to you I think I hear them calling Oh Beth what can I do Beth what can I do Beth I know you're lonely And I hope you'll be alright 'Cause me and the boys will be playing all night
Peter's gesture as he says "Cause me and the Boys will be playin'....", ugh, almost 30 years later, that moment still gets me choked up. We all knew that the makeup would return at that point.
I appreciate the goof who screamed "THIS IS KISS" in such a vindictive manner after Paul said "this is the sensitive stuff." Like he was as hyped to hear Beth as he was listening to Strutter for the first time
I saw Kiss three times in the 1970's in concert at the Philadelphia Spectrum! Each show was great! And EVERY time they played "Beth" was late in the show and when Peter sang the line "...and me and the boys will be playing ALL night"! The crowd erupted!
This version just became my favorite!! Authentic talent, love, and musicality from their hearts and God given magic! Thanks so much Kiss...Ace,Gene, Paul and Peter.....almost biblical🙂
When they all get along, they r a version of the greatest band. If there were no egos or booze problems, the magic would have bled onto every album. I saw the OGs live, in make up.
I really love this soo much it still makes me cry I remember when my big brother sang it I really do miss you so much brother Chris it's still hard that you're gone I really feel soo lost without you I know that Iwill see you again in heaven rip
There are five mannequins on the top of the KISS scenario - four of the mannequins were dressed with KISS' 1977 Love Gun costumes, while the fifth was Eric Carr's 1980 costume!
