@aberdesign Yes, I actually do use all of these utensils. It's true, I have accumulated them with time, but only out of a genuine need. I find that when I'm baking, I need several rubber spatulas and different sizes of whisks for specific, complicated recipes. And when I'm cooking more than one dish at a time, it's useful to have several wooden spoons and spatulas so I don't have to wash one every time I stir something so that I can use it to stir something else. Everything has a purpose!

You might want to think about weeding through utensils so you don't have so many, such as spatulas, etc.

Thanks nice video. A crock helps if you just keep a minimal number of items like 2 dark colored spatulas and 'servers' that go to the table like pasta fork, shallow sauce ladle, salad servers etc. According to gran the real purpose of that crock is to tell visitors, non verbally, that you're a terrific cook and homemaker.

I love your video's you have inspired me with organization I am currently trying to organize my pantry its huge and its a mess so I like your system that's what I'm going to try doing and see how it comes out. Thank you Jen your awesome :D

I use the drawer separators from Ikea..love them as i can adjust them in the drawer to what ever sizes i need....the only down fall is i have clean the inside of the drawers a little more often.. looking forward to your kitchen tour...hoping to pick up a few more tips...hope you are having a better week...missed a Winnie cameo Corrie aka uglybobswife

I was just wandering Jen....do you actually use all these utensils? Does it make sense to have so many spatulas or whisks? Excuse my ignorance, but I don't see the point of having more than 1 or 2 at the most of each utensil. I think less is more and I used to have many items and eventually got rid of half and makes it so much easier for me now to control...and less clutter. By the way your presentation of videos is fab and I look forward to many more. Thankyou for sharing. :)

What do you do if you had to use something that's the furthest down in the containers? Do you after cooking have to go through everything that's on top to put that particular one bak in the bottom? Lol sorry I'm just real lazy but I don't want an unorganized kitchen either!

You know all those tall things you put at the back? The few times that you use them, it might be annoying reaching back there to grab stuff. When you pull out 1 item, 4 might come with it. Why not take those really tall things back there and have them in 1 white crock at on the counter? They seem like items you wouldn't use all the time, but still easier to access. Then the drawer wouldn't be so jammed with stuff. My natural fiber brush went kaput too. (up in flames I think).

i like your drawer but i think it's too crammed in..too hard to grab stuff and to put away... have essentials in a crock then spares for big cookathons in a drawer

Hi Jen, I recently subscribed to your Channels (organizing and Winnie's) and I absolutely LOVE your videos! Always lots of good organizational tips to use around my apt. I am a BIG Container Store freak too! Don't forget Goodwill - sometimes a lot of good CS stuff finds its way to the thrift stores, still in great condition, and much easier on the budget. Oh, and in the pantry rejuvenation video I noticed you said "eck-cetera" for etc. Please don't say that - it's pronounced "et-cetera" :)
