This week we are transforming my boring kitchen, with the stark white cabinets and gray walls I wanted to find a way to add more character to this space worthy of our 150+ year old home. I will be painting the cabinets and the walls, changing the cabinet hardware and faucet, and installing my DIY custom curved shelves decorated with thrifted decor.

Subtle changes can absolutely enhance a space. It probably feels much different when you are standing in the kitchen vs seeing it on a video or in images.

Looks GREAT! I carry that paint color you used on the kitchen window throughout all the backsplash, it really works with your counter tops, it warms it up and makes it not stand out like the cooler colors do.

Door and trim to basement- creamy color to blend with walls. Trim on doorway to kitchen from living room- green because of doorway in living room to outside

I've been so excited to see this video since you mentioned it last well. Love it! I think you should paint the door creamy to match the walls. Although painting it the same as the cabinets would match the trim next to it 🤔

Love the kitchen makeover!!! I also love the Powder puff girls t shirt !!😂🤣😎 My opinion would be to not paint the door the dark color. I think it would make the whole area to dark . So I vote cream from the cabinets…. Love it ! Inexpensive way to dress up a room. Not everyone wants to drop 20,000 on a kitchen remodel..😎
