My Kitchenaid dishwaser was not draining preventing me from running another load. It took me about 30 minutes to take apart and clean out the clog. I'm back in business and no money spent. I already had the CLR

I wanted to let you know how much I appreciated your video-it was one of half-a-dozen I watch in preparation for undertaking the cleaning of my own dishwasher. I did it today and completed the effort without any complications. It was very gunky and definitely needed cleaning. It took me 90 minutes to do but I really took my time and did a thorough job of cleaning. Thanks again!

I came to see how to take it apart but you skipped all those steps and showed after you had removed each part. Would be a lot more helpful if you had showed the actual removal process of each part. Thanks for trying to help though.

Agree 100%… less talking about yourself and more showing of the actual repair.

Thank you so much for taking the time to make this video. I just successfully cleaned out my filter after watching your video. I've been looking for the filter for longer than I'd like to admit 😅. I appreciate you so much!

Thanks for posting. Ours wasn't cleaning very well. Took it apart thanks to your video and it was FILTHY! We had small bones, twist ties, and a crapload of UCO's(unidentified clogging objects)

I have had this problem with the metal screen clogging although we are pretty good at rinsing off dishes. Seems like they could have done better on design, but at least it is easy to correct. Thanks for reminding me what screws to look for.

Thanks for the video! I found the bit for removing the 3 screws holding the filter in. It looks like a 6 point star and in my bit box it is called 'T-20'. Good luck all!

Thank you so much for the video! I have the CLR soaking now after removing a bunch of crap and hard water build up. 🤞will see in a bit if it worked.

use equal parts baking soda and vinegar after shop vac-ing the water out, let sit for 10 minutes and run a rinse cycle. this should clean all that crap out

You got a bit out of the frame when you showed unclipping and moving the tube. Not sure where the clips are?

Taking off the plastic pieces on the inside gave me the confidence to go that one step further. Still a work in progress

Thank you, you saved the day. All cleaned out now. However, that reverse thread piece that holds on the water spinner thing , I think I stripped that trying to tighten it back in. Any idea where I can get that piece to replace it?. Is it a Home Depot type thing or hard to find?. Thanks. PS . Im in Connecticut.

How do I change the filter on this dishwasher? Thank you

It is a metal filter screen so just clean it off if it is still intact
