I'll show you how to set-up your KitchenAid Ice Cream Bowl Attachment with your tilt-head (4.5 quarts or larger) or bowl-lift stand mixer.
Note:
Generally for the Adaptor:
A side is for tilt-head stand mixers
B side is for bowl-lift stand mixers
However, I have confirmed with our Customer Care experts that some older bowl-lifts work better with the A-side. So, please use what works best and feel free to reach out with any questions!

thank you for these clear instructions - Kitchenaid should be including this link in their manual because the manual sure isn't clear.

Thank you! I misplaced my instructions for my Pro model. I kept trying to get the attachment to fit the mixer prior to lifting. 🤬 Your video saved me much frustration! Thank you again.

Hi Andrei - I used a 9 speed hand mixer for a ton of years before I received my first stand mixer - you can do a LOT with it!! You can even try making this no-churn "ice cream"! www.epicuricloud.com/recipe/no-churn-ice-cream/

i have to give a thumbs down because i cant hear what you are saying at all. I have turned my volume up full blast. which means all my other sounds blast loudly in order for my to hear you.

Make sure to turn the volume up on the RU-vid app as well as on your device. I've started wearing AirPods for videos - so hopefully that helps - take care!
