Mr. Point, I am 62 and that don’t look like the kite I flew when I was a boy in Trinidad I had to go and get kite paper which came in several colors, make tail from cloth and get cocoyea from the branches then buy thread and make my kite from scratch Make flour paste to put the kite together, so this is completely different to my days… wow! This is the easy way😂
The majority of kites today are factory made and so easy to assemble. Most people don't know how to make a kite from scratch. The kite that I bought at the start of the video is made the old fashioned way with cloth tail and coconut branch. I have not flown it as yet because there so many others on the Sunday. In fact the kites that guy had for sale were all made the old fashioned way.
Good morning. I remember we lived Upper hillside in Sando, and my older brother built some gargantous kites. He was a bit on the wicked side I'll say because they placed blades in the tails to bring down other kites in their battles in the sky 😅
