Getting Ready for Christmas 

Christmas may seem a long way off but having a stress-free Christmas season requires planning and preparation. One of the staples of a Trinidad and Tobago Christmas, indeed every Caribbean Christmas, is sorrel. I want to ensure that I have sorrel to drink, so I am planting at the traditional time of Corpus Christi to be able to reap sorrel at Christmas. The Corpus Christi holiday in Trinidad and Tobago marks the start of the wet/rainy season and so is considered a good day for planting crops. My planting is really backyard gardening and I find it an enjoyable hobby.
