What do you think of the rerelease? I have a lot more to say about this one. I may do a review. I wish it was 39-40mm I would be wearing it every day!

@@CasualWatchReviews Honestly, I don’t think it’s too bad of a watch BUT the price is a little ridiculous. It’s a 35mm quartz watch essentially, and for that price. I would just go for another watch or even a Tag Heuer 2000 on an aquaracer with some money to spare. I do love my little f1. It was one of the first Swiss watches I bought when I first started collecting because it was plentiful on eBay and the prices were amazing. Still are around for a decent if you don’t mind the battle scars. I feel that this release could have been done without Kith, but I understand the marketing with this product. That being said, a re-release in maybe a 37-38mm for perhaps around or even under $1,000 would be more of my cup of tea and I don’t think I would hesitate to purchase one. I do really love my little f1, and this release is a great “homage” to the watch that brought many people to love the brand.

Yep, I’m very nostalgic for the idea of the F1 from the 80s I remember it so well. Maybe they will do one bigger, I think they actually all sold out. Interesting to see some more reviews come in also, see what other people thought!

@@CasualWatchReviews I definitely would like to hear what others have to say. Unfortunately, so far it’s been negative due to the price and the Kith branding. I believe the love for this watch is strong enough for a stand alone regular tag heuer release with maybe some opportunities for better specs and perhaps new color ways.

I still have my yellow version originally purchased in 1986 by my Mom and Dad. I passed last year to my daughter when she turned 18 years old and watch still working as new (of course battery had been replaced so many times). $125.00 best purchase. $1,500.00 I would expect carbon fiber Tissot Sideral) , a case 38mm size (new small size for men). Hopefully Tag Heuer read this and make it (I will paid the $1,500.00).

It’s way too small for me honestly, it fits my wife beautifully, she had a 5 3/4 wrist. Thats the sweet spot for this I think

@@CasualWatchReviews I just got a NOS zodiac F1 made by tag in and you're right it's waaaay too small and the zodiac is 1.5mm larger. Just ended up selling it because like you, I can't pull it off! Lol

He is wrong, it was originally around $135 retail at the start of its and prob finished at 2 or three times that price max. He should have bought a clean vintage one for less than a third of the price of this sell out piece.

@CasualWatchReviews I guess they wouldn't of made it if they didn't think there was a market, my first proper watch was a 2012-13 aquaracer with a 7750 movement and I wear it daily so I am a tag fan just don't really fancy this one.

No. Overpriced items are eventually discounted, or they don’t sell. This collaboration, as foolish as this hypebeast nonsense is, is not that. These collaborations sell more than just the watch. Evidently, the watch, its branding, hype, and scarcity was worth at least the asking price.

Just to clear this up, I actually said that Tag had been too faithful to that original design and made it too small in comparison to contemporary watches. I stand by that. Your other points on my delivery is subjective so you’re clearly entitled to that opinion. But miss-quoting what I said when someone reading this could clearly just watch the upload and see what I said is worth clearing up.

It's not worth £1500 but it's not a £20 child's watch either. No need to shit on it it's great to see more fun watches entering the market last few years.
