Bulky tera Water Volcarona is a great Urshifu check. Since Flame Body has a 1/3 chance to burn and Surging Strikes hits 3 time Urshifu will usually end up burned by the end of 1 attack.
Between this and Glimmora it's very interesting to see Hazards be a legitimate part of VGC for once, especially considering how omni-present it is in singles lol
I cannot express how happy it makes me to finally see Hisuian Pokemon join the format, they're such an awesome pack of Pokemon and I can't wait to see you use all of them!! :D

QOTD: NEW TOYSS!! I've been loving a team I made with Kleavor, Samurott-H and Scream Tail which punishes switches by heavy hazards, and then forces opponents to start switching with Disable/Encore shenanagans
I always found it interesting that Sycther Scizor, (And now Kleavor)all have the same BST. If they ever make another evolution, I bet it would share the same. (Though I doubt they will). I am curious how well Kleavor would do with this set up but with Grass tera instead of water.
It's always crazy everytime you post a video, everyone immediately uses that team on Showdown and that's all I play against non-stop. You are such a big influence in the community. Keep up the incredible work!
I’ve been using this team! Very effective build, wracking up a lot of wins.Kleavor is a lot of fun - very strong and good at breaking sash while catching your opponent off with quick guard and feint. Imprison Flutter awesome one this team as well
QOTD: I think reg d is going to be really offensive, especially compared to the earlier formats this year. I am really excited to use hisuian lilligant, as it is my favorite pokemon, after meowstic and cinccino Thanks for making these videos. I watch/listen while washing dishes, sweeping, etc., so it helps make the normal stuff less painfully boring.
Been trying to build a team around Glastrier and trick Room but not having a lot of success. Kinda feel like without Dynamax, Glastrier loses a lot of its value, not being able to knock mons out easily to boost it's attack and not having that big HP boost to survive.
QOTD: Not a fan of regulation D. I don’t have Legends of Arceus and it’s annoying to see all these cool teams I won’t be able to make. They should give an option to get them in game in S/V.
I’ve been absolutely loving slow Tornadus on my teams. I personally run max bulk with 0 speed EVs (252/0/156/0/100/0). A big boon that it has is that it gets to win all manual weather wars, where most other Tornaduses will set up Rain Dance, then my slow one will set up Sunny Day immediately after
I think covertcloak to stop fake out and dark tera to stop taunt is way more consistent then running ghost tera. I just feel like there is more fake out then taunt
I didn't expect Kleavor to be like meta defining or anything, but I was a little surprised when it basically completely fell to the wayside when Reg D started getting played on Showdown. Happy to see some players are figuring out how to pilot it to success.
Have you ever thought about doing an extended breakdown of a ranked match? Fully talking about every option/idea going through your head without the pressure of the timer and the game as well? Things like considering all the possible tera types and moves the opponent could use etc. I'd love to see some more in depth breakdowns
Nice to see Urshifu-Rapid Strike is as broken as ever. It feels like it's even more broken now that it doesn't have Dynamax to balance it. A 100% crit/100% accuracy 3x 25BP move is obscene, particularly now with the instant unblockable defense drops from Chien Pao. I hope it gets a proper nerf before it spoils the meta again! :)
QOTD: I said it in the last video I’ll say it again, I think metapod is the answer to Regulation D. It seems like it is going to be very chaotic with ktrainers scrambling to learn the meta. That is why you need a solid defense mon like bug-Tera, rocky helmet metapod.
It’s so interesting to me as a mostly singles player that Kleavor is good here where in singles it’s pretty mediocre, while hisuian Samurott is great in singles but not really seen here as far as I’ve seen. It’s cool to see the diversity between the two formats 🙂
QOTD: Coming out of NAIC prep straight into Reg D really feels like walking into an entirely different meta, I have soooo much to learn and its kinda overwhelming at first. But theres so many cool new pokemon, and im really excited to learn!
I played this team a lot earlier in the format when it appeared on showdown. Kleavor is such an underrated mon. Always so clutch when I could bring it.
Imprison trick room flutter mane is insane in BO1 settings. I do like protect on that set though because then you imprison protect and block the other side from protecting. Especially if you deny trick room on turn one, they have no good reposition options
QoTD: I'm personally really liking the format so far barring the ever present urshifu. Just feels like theres so many different string options that it's really hard to go wrong

Would using Stone Axe on the last game instead of the X-Scissor, taking out the Grimm and at the Iron Hands on the switch, have been better? Things worked out for you in the end, but I feel like getting the stones up would have been a better option since Hands was already so low and easily KOable. Then you could have Feint doubled into the Gastrodon. Idk, thoughts?
Early regulations are always fun, because no solid sets have really settled (even with reg D being live on showdown for a month already), so sets and builds go wild
Game 4 was just classic Aaron luck and also classic Aaron sportsmanship. Having such bad luck and still having the cool to point out mistakes he made instead of blaming the loss on luck is why he's a professional and top-tier player.
I ran a kleavor on the road to masterball. If there was a Cresselia or Genie that needs to be OHKO im leading Kleavor so i lead it pretty much every match on the ladder.
