"Money can't buy happiness, but it can rent you paradise." I LOVE the way that line was done. This wasn't even a clown act, this was a full on pop concert!

Their designs are just eye-candy. Not in a weird way, but how they animated these too was so satisfying how they moved like ribbons. It was so pretty. I love how these two look and I do hope we see them again
I think that's the idea, Fizzarolli still maintained being a Clown, he brought smiles to peoples faces and funny and silly entertainment. But the Klown girls are tainted by Mammon's insatiable greed, they do whatever for views, rather than embodying the joy a clown is meant to bring. The show is over the top showy and sexual and is a bastardization of what a clown is.
I love how both of them each get their own little solo performance to empathize their personality. Glam is all sensual and graceful and Glitz is energitic and shameless. Love them both to death. I sure hope we see them again soon, given it was confirmed that they survived being crushed at the end there's hope.
Well, Spring Broken was a pretty small concert in a beach, and Verosica's job in that show was just to set the mood for all the succubi and incubi - a spectacular and distracting act on the scene would have been counter productive. This show on the other hand is *not* for a gaggle of humans, it's to catch the attention of one of the most powerful beings in Hell. Glitz and Glam are bringing their absolute A game in the hope of landing a superstar contract. It makes sense that this would be a much more spectacular show. (but also yeah, there's an insane difference in production between early S1 and these new episodes)
0:16 up until this point, it looked like it was just Glam, but their synchronization is so good that you don't even notice Glitz was behind her the whole time.
"Money can't buy happiness, but it can rent you paradise" best line. Also, the animation is so good. they perfectly captured siren vibes with how smooth their movements are. their symmetry, the choreography, the sea-theme is all just mwah chef's kiss.
I don't think so, considering the fact that Vivziepop would rather die a slow and painful death than release full songs without background sound effects
The way I saw this act was kinda like New School/Modern Circus vs Old School Circus. Mamon represents the whole "clown entertainment" genre as a whole, with Fizzy representing old school acts like Barnum and Bailey's, with funny clowns in bright makeup and slapstick antics. But these girls are more flashy, uppity, entitled, and more most importantly aesthetic illusionary, which reminds me of Cirque du'Solei-style of shows. Lightshow choreography and areal acrobatics with emphasis on PERFORMANCE SHOWMANSHIP than silly slapstick acts. Edit: I haven't seen anyone talk about this yet, but they remind me of Naiads/Nymphs, design based on Betta fish? Beautiful yet hyper-aggressive towards any other fish in their space.
I would love to see the full version of this song fully animated someday. "Money can't buy happiness, but it can rent you paradise." That's such an amazing line. And the animation is magnificent. they perfectly captured siren vibes with how smooth their movements are. their symmetry, the choreography, the sea-theme is all just mwah chef's kiss.
A round of applause to Faye Mata, she did not only do extremely well in the Hazbin Hotel pilot, but her voice perfectly fits Glitz and Glam’s characters. Chef’s kiss.
This is enough evidence that independent animation and independent voice acting will become the new mainstream! Not to long ago I was talking with a Marvel comic book artist from the 90's who worked on Spider-Man (at a comic con) and he literally told me "don't go into the big name comic book industry because it's currently dying. Instead, go independent and you'll be able to create the story that YOU want to tell! Then Instead of you going to a big time distributor, the distributor will come to you!" So far that's true because A24 picked up Viv's project.
I love how Glitz and Glam have different personalities that show in their performances. Glam is more of the angsty type and dead serious while Glitz has the more upbeat yet still threatening aura
Glam was designed to be more sensual and seductive with her bedroom eyes, and Glitz is more shameless and less afraid of putting herself out there (like when she flashed the crowd mid-performance)
The lyrics are just on point for the whole theme of exploitation in the episode. They sing "wanna sell our funny, slutty bodies to the masses". The whole reason why Mammon changed his mind on allowing women to enter the competition is because he thought they were hot, and the twins knew that. That line would have been sure to catch Mammon's attention, hook, line and sinker, because he knows SEX SELLS!! These two young women have basically just said, in lyric form, "We consent, no questions asked, to being objectified and hypersexualized" - they were initially set up by Mammon to be Fizz's foil so he could make Fizz squirm, but they just won the crown by making Mammon see he hit the jackpot: sex appeal + open consent = sex marketability = more contracts with Asmodeus = more revenue generated from sex dolls. You can tell by his manipulative behaviour that Mammon would have undoubtedly wanted to phase Fizz out gradually because he'd eventually started to hit the wall of marketability for Fizz and knew he needed to take it up a notch, all while keeping Fizz around as a consolation prize until the twins were completely up to speed... Because revenue. Kinda like how a shitty boss expects you to 'train' your replacement before firing you. The only problem is... Fizz beat him to the punch on the gradual refundancy by very publically quitting on the spot. It was a spanner in his well-oiled machine, and THAT is why he gets angry with Fizz more than anything: his cash-cow just up and left before he'd installed the new 'winners' and now he needs to reconfigure and rebrand the entire circus industry model at a moment's notice because of Fizz's very-public, Effective Immediately, 2-Minute Notice.

You know I just found this randomly in my recommended while watching hazbin hotel and I don’t know anything about helluva boss but this amazing. I have this on replay wow.
I love how they're clearly an allusion to the tragedy/comedy masks without being super obvious about it. It would've been so easy to just make Glitz always frowning and emo but her personality is almost identical to Glam's. Much like in actual theatre (especially Shakespeare), tragedy and comedy aren't polar opposites. They're intertwined. EDIT: said "drama" instead of "tragedy", whoops
I also love that the twins sang this. It’s amazing how few people can see past the glitz and glam to see how terrible that lifestyle can be. They’re both talented and inexperienced, perfect for someone like Mammon
It’s hard to think of something in this show that hasn’t gotten better and better ad it’s gone on. Animation, art style, song writing…it’s all been improving more and more

@@raccoonbabe299 It's because K/DA happens to be kpop and this song happens to be in the kpop style that people connect the two together when the truth is this song isn't based on K/DA but on kpop as a whole, perhaps not even kpop but just pop in general
I love the contrast in their FACES. One is clearly more smiley than the other and it makes me think of the drama/comedy masks. Also, I would give ANYTHING for a full version of this song.
@@PowerlineIsGod It'd be nice if there was an official version of the full song though, instead of giving the view to a channel that's not associated with the series in anyway. I would prefer to support the animation studio and label than someone who did a screen capture with the official video and then pasted them together in a video editor.
The music in this show is always great! I feel like the version in the end credits was longer and fuller, though, wish this Official Video was that fuller version of the song...
HEY VIVZIEPOP!!! You should make the full version of KLOWN B*tch with Glitz and Glam’s voice actors, so we can hear what their performance WOULD have been if Fizzarolli didn’t run into his room!
we do its produced by sam haft the lead song writer for vivze now it doesnt have the womens vocals but *most songs from the show are on his spotify channel/maybe YT i havn't checked
Thank you, Viv, for cutting these into bite-size pieces. They deserve singularity. That said, it’s super sad that these girls have worked so hard to become a famed sensation that will be treated like garbage until they get replaced by the next new thing. They want recognition so much. It feels so good to them. The fall will be extremely destructive in a way they can’t begin to imagine. They might hate each other in the end.
I feel like they're actually well aware of how toxic the industry actually is as in with the lines "Not here to cuddle more like leave you in a puddle" and "Wanna sell my funny, slutty body to the masses". They're not in it for some grand purpose or for a dream - only for the money, unlike Fizzarolli.
They seem better fit to handle Mammon than Fizz was, because they are absolutely terrible people. Who knows, they might even be able to hold Mammon in the palms of their hands in later episodes. I’m sure a guy who underestimates women and is easily manipulated by money may work in their favour 🤔
@@dontatmeimmoody2895 You may be right, but if his lifespan is far longer than theirs, and he rules an entire ring based on his mojo, they are completely disposable, as far as he cares. They are expendable material. Refuse that burns until it’s exhausted of any usable potential. Then, they mean nothing. Imagine how much they might absolutely hate each other once he’s done sucking them dry.
The Glam twins aesthetic and theme really gives me oceanic vibes, which makes me think they're from the Envy ring. Since Leviathan is the rule of Envy, this explains their whole thing. Hopefully we see more of the rings soon.
Oh yeah, I'll be real, Those twins did SO good! Also, I didn’t expect the season 2 trailer soundtrack to be a foreshadow of this song. I love the part where they said "Give in to temptation take your time I’ll be patient." This song is just slaping to hard.
@@catcat5564I mean, neither is bitching about taxes, but if Mammon can do that and could call himself a clown, then being annoying and singing probably counts too.
It's so good to see songs from the show get their own official individual releases like this. I dunno why they decided to do this now when there's been many a song back in S1 and a few at the start of S2 that I personally think are also deserving of an individual release (preferably also on Spotify **cough cough**) but we appreciate it nonetheless
Probably because a bunch of channels keep ripping off Helluva and just posting 15-45 second clips getting 100,000s of views. There was someone who ripped the full music video and it was at 1.8m views basically the day after the episode dropped. That's quite a bit of money to just let slip through your hands.
I'm hoping that they realise what a market this is now in those first few hours. Hopefully they develop a video for each song going forward (and include any parts lost in edits)
This instantly became one of my new favorite HB songs! I instantly adored Glitz and Glam because like I said they're hot, Sassy and as this scene proves they are damn good singers! Faye and Allison did an outstanding job performing this song the vocals are just topnotch!!!

I love that you can really tell who’s singing when it’s both of them by their expressions. The lower register has softer more down-turned expressions with the high pitch register having intense grins and excitement. Amazing skill on both the sound and design of the video, love it so much ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
It’s even more impressive considering they’re both voiced by the same person Edit: Wait no never mind I might be wrong hold on lemme consult the wili Edit 2: I was partially correct, they’re both voiced by the same person (Faye Mata) when speaking, but when singing, Glam is voiced by Allison Kaplan

I mean to be fair, when you put on a top that's tight enough it's gonna make your chest look smaller, so depending on what material their shirts are made out of her chest can easily look larger once she pulls it off
This is wonderful. No joke, Vivienne and her team did a wonderful job. The musical number itself is simply 10 out of 10 absolutely. The music, staging and color scheme are simply top notch.
The amount of skill actually needed for a mirrored performance, ESPECIALLY in animation, is kind of mind blowing Edit: after listening to this song quite a bit, I also have to give credit to the women who lent their voices to these characters, because they can sing in harmony. A lot of bands/duos sing together, but few are able to harmonize the same way these ladies can.
@@kawansiesquad6659Incorrect. They’re both voiced by Faye Mata when speaking, but for singing, Glitz and Glam are voiced by Allison Kaplan and Fate Mata respectively
I don't think my heart is ready. I hope they don't break us after this past couple episodes of nice things and reconciliation. To end the year with Stolas and Blitzo having a fight, falling out or splitting(?) would be awful.
I already thought the quality of Helluva Boss was impressive but each time I am even more impressed, not only are the voice acting and the animation high quality, as they are also fluid and smooth and not to mention the songs and choreography that are a show in themselves, they are practically video clips in the form of animation in the episodes, I think this is my favorite song so far, it's very addictive
I know what you mean. But for me there are only two songs that are even better: Cotton Candy and above all 2 minutes notice. They just know how to put music and animation into perfection (honorable mention to Addicted from Hazbin Hotel)
