@@Reaper13-hi3yo Les great teams? Go look at the knicks, pacers, and magic rosters back then. That’s just the east. This idea that the league was just watered down and part time cab drivers is absurd. Players were athletic and high basketball IQ’s. Not sure where this magic leap comes in from 90s players to players over the last few years. I’ll give you the 5 position but that’s about it. Even then a guy like Hakeem, Robinson, Rasheed, or Garnett would still be a problem today
@@Reaper13-hi3yoAnd yet with the watered down era you claim and the superior talent in today’s game as some clowns have said. You have teams with worse records than the expansion teams. Teams setting records for consecutive losses and they aren’t the team with the worst record.
@@Reaper13-hi3yothat expansion teams produced a lot of hof and all stars alonzo mourning from heat and hornets. Larry johnson from hornets also. If there are no expansion teams there will be no team today 😂😂. If there is no heat team where tf lebron will go after he made his decision ??
They talk that shit because Michael Jordan is 61 years old. If they had done that 30 years ago, they would have been humiliated and questioned their career choice.
Jordan is the GOAT and its not particularly close. But saying Lebron James will be "forgotten" is just delusional on your self righteous feeling self's part. That type of hyperbole is what makes Jordan fans get taken way less seriously by younger people. There is no need for it. Its just as dumb as saying Lebron is the GOAT.
To me Draymond is proof the this era isn't all that great since he's a perennial all star. He's like the equivalent of Antoine Carr in the 90's if he works really hard 😂
Jokic should be able to put the whole "plumber" argument to rest, dude is dominating the league and hes literally a farmer who just wants to go home to his horses 😂😂
Barkley knew what he was talking about when he was supporting Denver even through the playoffs. I hope he had a shit eating grin after they won the chip
I hate to bring it up but I think it's important to clarify MJ's father didn't just pass away. He was murdered in cold blood in the car MJ gave him and even had an NBA championship ring with him at the time. Mike was very close to the man and his parents attended as many games as they could. It's a heartbreaking story that really brings his retirement into perspective. On top of that, he didn't just sit around for a couple of years. The guy was playing professional baseball then came back to win 3 more rings. Frankly, anyone who calls that "quitting" is a disingenuous fool.
His father didn’t just pass away, he was murdered… possibly assassinated. And I would say that leaving like that and coming back to reclaim the throne and 3peat AGAIN… Is considerably tougher than staying in and making appearances in the finals.
The NBA is in a sad state. Instead of respecting and honoring the legacy of past eras, they disrespect and dishonor all to stroke the ego of one man. Destroying their own culture and history to prop up their false King. What a sad time to be a basketball fan.
@chrisuncleahmad find me a clip of MJ fans disrespecting the 80s? MJ himself shows nothing but love and respect and admiration for those who came before him. He refused to even call himself the GOAT because of his respect for the past greats. MJ is a student of the game and a byproduct of past eras and he says this clearly. You're proof that the game is already divided because your first response is to attack MJ lol...
Draymond went from getting suspended in a finals game in part for calling LeBron a female dog to joining klutch and presenting himself to LeBron like one in heat.
-- Truthfully, the more "skilled" today is the shooting for bigs. 2) The higher scoring is also in part due of the rule changes, which spurred forth NEW offensive sets b/c coaches are under these new rules If the NBA called travels and carries like they did in the 80s, the scoring would be marginally higher b/c of that shooting but not statistically significant.
@@jlui21 If you look at players that started in the 90s and played throught the 2000s the really good ones all improved their shooting as 3pt shooting became more prevelant. That is also true for players in the 80s, when 3pt shooting was almost virtually non existant outsdie of specialists, that played through into the 90s (Drexler, MJ, Dominique to name a few). To think that players in the 90s if they played in today's era where everything revolves around shooting 3s wouldn't have been able to adapt and improve their shooting is ridiculous. It's one of the easiest things to do in the basketball court.
@@gamble777888 -- 100% agree. Look at Myles Turner. He didn't shoot a single 3pt his rookie year in 2016. Five years, later he's avg four 3pts a game. Brook Lopez? Zero 3s his first seven years starting in 2009. For the last 8 years, he avgs five 3pters a game. P.s. Sure, Curry has the 3pt record. But if I have to choose to someone to hit a game winner 3pter? BIRD all day.
LeBron is also better at Rebounds and he's better at losing. As it's very well known, LeBron is the losingest quasi GOAT in NBA Finals history. But his fans look at his losses as a net-positive, but whenever anyone else loses, it's looked at as "losing" 😂
Klutch Sports' Rich Paul is his agent. This is all a huge propaganda machine meant to flood the Internet and change perceptions. It's absolutely disgusting. LeBron knows he's not the best ever, but he doesn't care about truth.
Green, a three-time NBA champion and three-time All-Star, was previously represented by agent B.J. Armstrong with The Wasserman Group. Green signed with Klutch Sports, led by president and agent Rich Paul, on Feb. 27 in Miami. Green will be an unrestricted free agent in 2020.
8:48 - 8:53 "MJ took a break" - coming from a person who has NO biological father growing up. MJ's Dad wanted him to be a Baseball player NOT a Basketball player. When he died, MJ honored it. Took a break MY ASS! He did what his father loved, playing another sport, not on Cancun living the life.
He's right. No other player does what LeBalco does on the basketball court. Standing around, complaining to refs, flopping and faking injuries. That's one hell of a skillset!
You let the media put you against Dreymond when he didn’t even say that Bron was better. Pointing out he was one of the best players in the league for two decades isn’t wrong. But let the media give you a snippet of what’s said and you will say some hating ass shit like calling the man a Donkey.
@@whoozyyy he LeBron was the best player from 05 to 2020. Kobe was the best in 05 til 2011 or 2012. I watched both careers. I let my eyes tell me, not the media...I'll leave that to you

I began investing in stocks and Def earlier this year, and it is the best choice I've ever made. There are lots of life changing opportunities in the market, and maximize it.
The fact that he calls the that Warriors team the greatest ever without winning the chip is laughable. In that case the Fab 5 is the greatest team in NCAA Basketball.
That 73 win warriors team isn’t even a top 10 team all time. They were good….but overrated as far as what history tries to make them out to be…and mostly for lebrons sake. Because “that one there made him the greatest” 😂😂😂
@@tawithmmk4800 And don't forget they were losing 3-1 to 2 of the biggest chokers in history, before blowing that 3-1 lead... That Warriors(including KD) team will be eaten alive by like 20 hall of fame teams..
Michael Jordan was the best of all time with the ball in his hands. And he was the best of all time without the ball in his hands. MJ's ability to move without the ball is a very underappreciated skill he had. LeBron has never played without the ball in his hands and cannot play without the ball in his hands. MJ was one of the best athletes to ever play in the league as was LeBron. But MJ was also the most fundamentally sound player to ever play the game. MJ was the best offensive player the league has ever seen and the best defensive guard of all time.
Kobe stopped being the best player in the league when he tore his achilles. If Lebron was the best player in the league in 05' he would have won against Greece the following year. They needed Kobe.
Its funny how the younger players have to try and be disrespectful by calling people "old heads" or "old fucks", as an attempt to get their point across 🤔🤔
"The talent at Apple is way better than the talent that was working there back in 1991." I'm sorry, do you honestly think the average worker at Apple even knows the machine code that is the framework for the application they're working with today?! Dude, we stand on the shoulders of giants!
Not only that, but comparing technology to athletics or other things is not a proper comparison. Technology is iterative and cumulative in its knowledge base, by definition. But not everything improves over time. I'd ask Draymond: "are musicians today more skilled than in the days of Bach or Mozart?" "Are writers today more skilled than Milton or Shakespeare?" "Are sculptors today better than Michaelangelo?" Everything gets better over time, right? Wrong. Athletics is more like art than technology. And it is well known that Artistic mediums go thru cycles and have their golden eras, their peaks. For basketball, it's seems more than reasonable to say that its peak was on or around the summer of 1992. I've heard Skills coaches in the NBA (in interviews) bemoan the fact that players today struggle with basic fundamentals like the proper method for low post passing, defensive rotations, screen settings, etc. Draymond is quite ignorant to assume that every human activity is always getting better thru time. Things are cyclical. Maybe it will get better again, but currently the NBA is not in a peak. No, it is in a trough.
I have to admit MJ did not beat the greatest team ever assembled or run up against the greatest team ever assembled. But what Draymond Green fails to understand is MJ could not have beaten or run up against the greatest team ever assembled because the 1990s Bulls were the greatest team ever assembled and they were the greatest because of MJ.
True, but Jordan did finally beat the pistons in the eastern conference finals that beat them 3 straight years, the beat the Knicks in the 93 playoffs who had the best record that season and swept them in the regular season, they defeated the Orlando magics in 96 who beat them the year before and made it to the finals,so I disagree about Jordan not having competition
I find it funny Dray thinks the talent is better now..when his a$$ probably wouldn't have made a roster in the 90s. Draymond is a fringe HOF in this more "talented" era is probably the biggest knock against it. Nobody was looking for an undersized big with limited offensive skill, who doesn't average 10 rebounds in the 90s. Players like Barkley and Anthony Mason (undersized Bigs in the 90s) would make Dray look so trash.
I wish he would have played in the 90’s and had to guard them power forwards the likes of Malone, Rodman, Kemp, Larry Johnson, Oakley and the list goes on.
“Michael Jordan played against plumbers. He’s not even top 10.” 🤣 LeRoid Dames only defeated TikTokers, DoorDashers, RU-vidrs, podcasters, and YMCA players playing in Venice Beach jacking deep 3s. He’s not a top 1000. He needed to form a superteam in Miami to beat an old af Celtics team. 😂 And steroids to defeat all these 2010s/2020s losers looking at their phones and scrolling through their social media feeds all day. TikTokers and DoorDashers are worse than plumbers. Plumbing is a real job and actually pays much better. So MJ played against Larry Plumber, Magic Plumber, Isiah Plumber, Clyde Plumber, Charles Plumber, Shaquille Plumber, and Kobe Plumber. No relation to Jake Plummer, Amanda Plummer, and the Mario Bros. 1990s Plumbers - Hakeem Olajuwon Shaquille O’Neal Karl “The Plumber” Malone Charles Barkley Clyde Drexler David Robinson Patrick Ewing John Stockton Older Larry Bird Older Magic Johnson Older Isiah Thomas Older Kevin McHale Old af Robert Parish Old af Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Old af Julius Erving Old af Moses Malone Younger Kobe Bryant Younger Kevin Garnett Younger Allen Iverson Younger Ray Allen Younger Steve Nash Younger Tracy McGrady Younger Stephon Marbury Rookie Tim Duncan Penny Hardway in his prime Grant Hill in his prime Bernard King in his prime Dominique Wilkins Adrian Dantley James Worthy Chris Webber Gary Payton Shawn Kemp Reggie Miller Tim Hardaway Jason Kidd Alonzo Mourning Derrick Coleman Larry Johnson Kevin Johnson Dennis Rodman Joe Dumars Brad Daugherty Mark Price Dan Majerle Mitch Richmond Chris Mullin Detlef Shrempf Mark Jackson Jamal Mashburn Jim Jackson Jalen Rose Latrell Sprewell Allan Houston MJ also schooled OJ Mayo at the age of 43 who can dribble with either hand as well as Kobe and Kyrie. As an old man, he dropped Vince from a crossover. It’s on RU-vid. He went H2H against Kobe, T-Mac, and Pierce in some of those games. He dropped 40 with Kenyon Martin and Richard Jefferson guarding him. I guess all the NBA players from 1980s-2000s (THREE DECADES) were all plumbers then. The Dream Teamers who MJ destroyed in that Monte Carlo scrimmage were all a bunch of plumbers. While that overrated 2008 Redeem Team which nobody watched that Netflix doc could barely handle Spain because they were too little. By the 00s, elite bigs went extinct. Dwight Howard would not be a top 10 center in the 90s. Olajuwon, Shaq, Robinson, Ewing, Mourning, Mutombo, Daugherty, Parish, Sabonis, and Smits were all better. Then the 2006 FIBA team with LeBron, DWade, and Melo went lebronze like LeBron did in the Olympics in 2004. Team USA needed Kobe to redeem themselves. Anthony Edwards will go down as the 2nd greatest player of all-time. He’s actually playing in a similar era as Jordan when bigs rule the league. He’s going to fly over Jokic, Giannis, Embiid, and AD like Jordan did to Shaq, Olajuwon, Ewing, Robinson, Mourning, and Mutombo. Plumbers? That’s funny. Every star before 2000 were plumbers then. Those 00s stars like Duncan and Kobe couldn’t beat those Utah plumbers in 1998. Jazz went 4-1 against the Spurs and 4-0 against the Lakers. Kobe shot four airballs in 1997 while Jordan was winning a title for UNC at the same age. Kobe didn’t hit a game winner until Year 4. LeBron didn’t hit a memorable game winner until Year 6. From 1992-1998 which includes playoff games, Jordan defeated Shaq 13-6. What did that Shaq Plumber do after MJ retired a second time in January 1999? Once Lakers got Phil, he went on a threepeat. Just like it wasn’t time for the 90s stars to win rings in the 80s, the 00s stars didn’t win in the 90s yet until the Bulls broke up. I like how Jordan played against plumbers while an unathletic white boy named Austin Reaves gives problems to this new generation of mentally weak players. Giannis can’t even shoot as well as Olajuwon, Robinson, Ewing, and Mourning and he’s considered a top 2 player today. Jordan is responsible for Kobe, Kawhi, KD, DWade, and Ant’s careers. But I guess he has no influence. Keep calling them plumbers. Your favorite player in your life will still never measure up to Jordan. They will always be looking up to him in stature. Crying memes and dumb Reddit posts will never negate his stature as the G.O.A.T.
You hit the nail on the head. In addition to Reaves we’ve got these dad bod white dudes like Jokic and Luka destroying the league and we’ve got these stick figures like Chet and Durant and Wembanyama destroying dudes as well. Imagine those dudes trying to defend a prime Shaq or Karl Malone backing down on them 🤣

IT IS SO OBVIOUS and as a Warriors fan I am sick to my stomach that JOE LACOB DOESN'T TELL DG to quit sabotaging his $$$$ and team!!! We know he is aiding Klutch in preventing Steph from getting a larger legacy while LBJ can obsess about getting a 5th ring before Curry. And Draymond is the traitor right in the middle - aiding and abetting.
Draymond just disrespected his own teammate Steph Curry, saying LeBron was the best player from 2005 to 2020. He does know that Steph won back to back MVPs, and one was unanimous. Maybe he just forgot 😂
If LeBron is the better passer/ball handler than MJ then why has LeBron averaged 3.5 turnovers/game in his career versus MJ who averaged 2.7 turnovers/game in an era when the league had more physical on defense?
Here are the greatest players who played against both Lebron and MJ. The greatest players with actual first-hand experience going up against both of them. They have ALL picked Lebron over MJ. “He’s got four rings and he becomes the highest scorer in the NBA history. He will be the best ever. This is the first parts of the transition of now Bron being the king of the hill.” -Kevin Garnett “I think that right there solidified it.... I gotta put him at GOAT status.” -Paul Pierce "As much as I love Jordan, LeBron James is the ONE, dawg. He the ONE, man." -Allen Iverson “I think Lebron goes down as the greatest to do it.” -Jason Kidd “Officially the greatest player to ever play. Really hard to say that because I’m an MJ fan.” -Ron Artest “I always say Jordan, but if LeBron passes Kareem in all-time scoring, I’m running out of arguments for MJ.” -Dirk Nowitski “Lebron James is the most talented player I have ever seen.” -Karl Malone

It’s crazy that James himself has said that there are people in the NBA who can’t play basketball yet Draymond wants to act like this era is so great. Luka also stated it’s easier in the USA than in Europe due to rules some of which existed in the 90s.
Klutz sports, Jordan never stood around waiting for an opening to get a pass to get a layup. On defense Jordan never stood around watching players drive right past him and not even flinch to make a defensive move and then blame his team for giving up a basket. Not only was his lazy on defense but half the time he didn’t cross mid court.
Things Jordan can do that LeBron can't: shoot over 80% from the stripe, win with the team he has, take accountability for shortcomings without shifting blame to teammates or making excuses, play 82 games, play against the best teams and players as opposed to avoiding them with phantom injuries, guard the other team's best play while putting up big numbers.
Bottom line is this as a 50+ yr old who has watched Magic, Bird, Jordan, Shaq, Kobe, Lebron, Durant, Steph and others...MJ was better plain and simple..this young generation can only comment on what they saw, they weren't there when the whole damn planet wanted to be "LIKE MIKE"!
The glazing Draymond is doing is so disrespectful to his own teammates. As they’re fighting with the lakers to even be in the play in. That doesn’t help their morale when he’s doin this
Draymond is like Draya Michele right now, might as well call him Draya Green…because he’s trying secure his bag after retirement with Clutch Sports, while he carries Bronny’s man purse too…
The most telling part of Jordan playing baseball was one of the White Sox coaches saying if he’d have stayed he would’ve been a starter in the MLB within two more years. Now that’s crazy. To leave the nba in your prime and be that close to being a professional baseball player
Maybe all this displaced anger Draymond has been showing on the court this year stems from him not being able to next to his sweetheart Lebalco on a nightly basis.
The media didnt brainwash me. Bron isnt even top 5 in my opinion. The people pushing the lebron narrative are clearly biased and just want to be on lebron's good side. JJ redick is already benefiting from being a lebron stan. Got himself a podcast with lebron
Green tootin´his own horn when he says the Warriors were the best team ever assembled. I just saw the old clip of LeBron declaring himself the GOAT(that shot right there...), and he said the exact same words when he spoke of the Warriors team. Almost like DG has been fed this?
@@eyeconqueror1185considering the same fans who claim 2016 was the greatest team ever said 2015 warriors didn't deserve their ring, I'd say they are full of shit. I still remember laughing my ass off and telling LeBron fans keep this same energy when cavs beat warriors 2016 Christmas day game and they said cavs would beat KD and the warriors in the finals 😂
They always say "greatest team assembled" just because they won 73 games, disregarding the fact that they had terrible post season, didn't sweep any team, almost lost in the conf-finals, and of course, lost the finals. They also argue they added KD on top of said greatest team. But guess what? They only won 67, 58, 57 games next 3 seasons. Their argument against Jordan is the Bulls without Jordan in 94 won 55 games so that Jordan must not be all that valuable. (obviously isn't true) So with that logic, adding KD must have made the team worse, duh. But they keep spouting "greatest team ever assembled"
Oh save your Warriors hate for somewhere else. Draymond is not representing the Warriors at all. In fact he is a traitor and doing everything to help his boyfriend LBJ. So stop splitting hairs w/your Warriors hate cuz that isn't even the subject. There is no "They" here. This is loudmouth Green indirectly doing his bootlicking and lackey work for Klutch.
People also minimize what happened to his father, they always say, his father passed away, like it was just Mother Nature saying it was his time, NOOOOOO, his father was kidnapped and MURDERED!!!!!!!! Greatest team ever assembled? I swear those 73 win Warriors are crazy overrated. They were a novelty, struck lightning in a bottle, but the '86 Celtics, '87 Lakers. '89 Pistons, '96 Bulls etc...etc..Had deeper, more talented rosters. And that's just to name a few.I think even the '95 Magic would beat the 73 win Warriors.I never saw that team as unbeatable until they added KD.You can make more of an argument for that team being the greatest ever assembled.Bron never came close to beating that squad.
The 73 win Warriors were and are overrated. You need to take the competition into account, not just the number of wins over garbage teams. Besides the teams you mentioned like the 86 Celtics or the showtime Lakers that had 4 number one overall picks on the same team and the Bulls with Jordan you need to back a little further to the 72 Lakers that won 33 in a row or Philly in 67 or even any team from the Russell era Celtics that won the championship 11 out of 13 years. Those teams had multiple hall of famers and allstars. They probably don’t get recognized because every team was loaded back then because you had less teams making the talent be concentrated and not spread out and watered down like now.
They’re mad due to not performing well enough at that level. The 70’s, 80’s, 90’s, 2000’s till 2020. Afterwards the COVID-19 era arrived and now they’re just playing, no passion, heart, love for the game. European players are better than most players in the NBA because of their ability to play with the fundamentals that was taught by past NBA coaches. Kobe Bryant predicted the future. Good video!
Saying an entire era of basketball is trash is a fallacious argument. Michael Jordan did not have control over what time in history he would be born. Neither did LeBron, Kobe, Bird, Magic, Russell or Wilt. If you’re evaluating the greatness of an athlete, you can only evaluate what they had control over, which is their overall game, statistics and accomplishments. I don’t get how people can just blow off an entire era of basketball as bad because theirs is more advanced. Great players will do the best that they can with what they have relative to their era.
The greatest team ever assembled is the '96 UnbeataBulls. It don't mean a thing if you don't win the ring. He's insinuating the warriors but they lost in the finals.. Draymond needs to stay off that rock
MJ never ran up against the Greatest Team assembled? You know why? Because HIS TEAM was the greatest assembled. Because HE WAS ON IT. The NBA can't wait unti LeBron is gone.
