Because the ones making the argument are part of a generation of ignorant, wanna-be-relevant individuals trying to make LeFraud the GOAT, not realizing he lost that bid in 2011.
Let's see, scoring is much better today Three point percentage Free throw percentage Ball handling The only reason why defense was better, in the 90's, is because most players couldn't shoot and stretch the floor
@@vicepresidentmikepence889 Did you say ball handing 😂😂 you mean carrying the ball and three-point shooting 😂😂 no fundamentals or defense. The data even shows the product today is trash. Nice try 😂😂😂 ball handling
@@vicepresidentmikepence889Bingo- the 90's were a watered down expansion era of glorified 1 on 1 ball with less athletic and less skilled player. "tougher defense" = hard fouls and no zones against a majority of the league who couldnt shoot. It is all a joke to anyone who knows the game.
I’m actually the rare fan of both Skip and Nick. But even as a fan of them, they do have certain takes that they are either wrong or insufferable about for sure. Makes it hard to be a fan. For Skip, he’s right about Lebron, but talks about it too often. For Nick, who can usually back up his points, the fact that he so clearly omits and skews data trying to put Lebron over Jordan is just bizarre and off-putting.
@@0404chrisjz bruh it blew up the entire league and it's coverage fool it took the league global it's the reason the nba is in so many homes across the world nightly..so now talking heads like nick wrong can speak on basketball everyday smh
They been sucking the 90s players dix ever since. Only nba out of all major sports says their old era players can beat the new era players without questions for the past 25 damn years. Even though the players now are more skilled, better shooters, better ball handling, more athletic. My God I watched Jordan win every chip it was 25 years ago and yet the media still sucking him off. They didn't go this hard for magic and bird and yall still saying we don't give them respect. Watch any debate of new player vs and see how much respect the majority of the cast give to the old eras. Only a few analyst actually sat the lebron over jordan
I was thinking how he said Lebron had a great game 6. He doesn't mention that Lebron missed the tying 3 pt shot and if it weren't for Ray Allen saving him, they would have been eliminated.
What amazes me is that MJ didn’t even need to play with the Wizards to get his 6 rings because he already had them. Bron needs every season he can get after 20 seasons already to still try to get two more. 🤷🏻♂️
What's worse than the Gen Z losers that believe him are the Millenial and Gen X morons that also push the same nonsense. I am convinced that those that were old enough to have watched Jordan but keep using the same nonsense arguments that people too young use probably always hated Jordan and just jumped on the LeBron bandwagon for validation. That's why they tend to spend more time explaining why they think Jordan isn't the GOAT instead of why they think LeBron is.
But people like you who call other people names because you disagree are making the world better😂 Zero self awareness is a prerequisite when you're in a cult
@@drexlspivey3047 I don't hate him because he has a different opinion, I hate him because he is a corporate scumbag getting paid to be a PR jocksniffer who puts down actual great players to push a fake agenda down people's throats.
LeBronda lost to Dwight Howard in the 2009 Eastern conference finals. Allowing the Orlando Tragic to get trounced by Kobe in the finals. That’s so soft. LeBronda then blames his teammates, jumps ship to D Wade, and proceeds to play so SOFT and TIMID that he himself lost the series to the Mavs because he choked on a big Dirk. The heat should have lost back to back to the Spurs.
That makes Jordan more respectable and a killer. Jordan not tryna be cute or handsome by keeping a “hairdo” . Lebron would be a better player if he stopping being a diva tryna hide the balding head 😢
Eh I dunno. LeBron is definitely ruining his legacy on a daily basis but he's been a physical freak since high school. Maybe he does take something but I'd personally be surprised
90s basketball sucked so bad tens of millions of people watched the games while they can’t get two million people to even watch a team like the Lakers now. That should tell you everything you need to know.
I’ve been watching the NBA since 1966. The 90s and MJ still is the best basketball I’ve ever witnessed. No ticky tack soft fouls. The game was extremely physical. You could hand check your opponent legally. Today, MJ would average 50ppg. That info comes from todays and yesterdays players. The 90s refs wouldn’t allow all those traveling calls on Lebron. Check it on RU-vid.
Nick Wright said it best, to paraphrase. "This idea that the nba in the 80's and 90's was like the Roman gladiators in the coliseum is idiotic. Nba in the 80's and 90's was slightly more physical with much worse athletes"
@@vicepresidentmikepence889Jordan, Dominique, Kemp, Chambers, Kevin Johnson, JR Rider, Iverson would adapt if they grew up and played now against five out sets and chubby Euros.
Jordans peak was from 1984 to 1998. 14 years and he accomplished more then any player in that amount of time and more. He tasted defeat as does any player on a rebuilding team but on the biggest stage, Jordan knows nothing but winning. I couldn't imagine losing 6 finals. my gosh that is not GOAT like at all.
Thank you! How can "the goat" have a losing record in the finals?! MJ went 6-0 and had 6 finals mvps. It's not even close when comparing him and lebron. You are better off comparing kobe to michael than lebron.
It's funny how Nick Wright talks about how good LaBron was in game 7 but never mentions that Michael Jordan never had to play in a game 7 in any of his championship games. And you know that he knows that fact too. Speaker: " Hay Michael, what do you think about Lebron in game 7?" Michael: "l don't know. I never played in one" lol 😅
Nick Wrong referencing that like its something to be ashamed of is absolutely ridiculous. That starting five was arguably the best in the league PG Penny Hardaway SG Nick Andersen SF Dennis Scott PF Horace Grant C Shaq O'Neal First team all NBA players and then throw in a few All Stars. But to Nick Wrong, MJ lost to some scrubs.
@@emilfrederiksen.1622then you are blind. Iverson carried the hell out of the ball. Isiah Thomas,Tim Hardaway had a tight, strong handle and crossover. Even an assist is inflated today. An out of bounds pass and 5 dribbles later score-it counts as an assist. It's so much worse, but people who never lived through different can't comprehend the difference in quality .
If only these Klutch's morons could acknowledge that returning from almost two years of retirement and dominate, with a new play style, is so hard. I've seen profissional athletes, resume, from one year of absence, and losing completely their form. Your body is programmed to perform at high level when you are on top of your game, but if you stop during a season its extremely difficult to get back to your old form. Specially if you are retired from the sport you once dominated.
And when they say, "in those 2 years Pippen still took them to ecf and won 50 games", I remind them of the MASSIVE DIFFERENCE between participating in the semi-finals, and 3-peating twice!😂

Nick wright is a Delusional Lebron Fanboy. He basically spews nonsensical takes and is a hypocrite when debating MJ vs Lebron. Does exactly what he’s blaming others to be aka “Dishonest”. #Pathetic 🤡😂🤣😂
With the exceptions of his sophomore year when he broke his foot and when he came back from retirement in the middle of the 95 season, Jordan’s peak was his entire run with the Chicago Bulls.

Another point of their nonsense is when they say Jordan played against plumbers, yet all of those plumbers had better stats than Scotty. but for some reason Scotty Pippin wasn't a Plumber. you can't make this stuff up

Nick better be glad he did retire in 94 because there's a better chance than not that we'd be sitting here talking about Michael Jordan won seven straight championships
I never thought that there was a debate between MJ and Lebron, Lebron is nowhere next to MJ but this debate has at least one merit for me, it allowed Uncut Hoops and others to excel in the analysis and objective, relevant research!! And to clearly prove that MJ is by far the best player!!! GOAT!!
It’s pathetic how Nick Gonzo brings up “27 game winning streak” and “Game 6 & 7” performance like they’re actually accolades. Ignoring that the 96’ Bulls won 72 games and a championship that year. His comparisons are dishonest and flat out hypocritical because he ignores and doesn’t say what Jordan did with his criterias
It would be awesome if you did a comparison of each of those guys's championship seasons side by side (maybe you can even include more players or make a series out of it). Like include regular season and playoffs and who was actually most dominant in their champion years
It's weird Nick keeps mentioning winning streaks while on super teams. These ESPN and Fox sports personalities don't know these stats and comparisons to argue for Mike.
7:30. But think about it, LeBalco avg more rebounds, yet it took him over 20 years to reach 1,668 offensive rebounds- which took Jordan 15 years. And offensive rebounds are considerably harder since the defender is closer to the basket. Once again, Jordan did more in less time.
How do these LeBron guys always glorify him for finishing second 🤣 Somehow finishing second in DPOY is an amazing accomplishment we have never seen before.
Amazing breakdown once again. I grew up watching MJ and every playoffs MJ game was something to look forward to. I used to record whatever I missed as some of the late games I wasn't allowed to stay up and watch lol as I was in elementary school. One thing you missed, when Nick Wright is referring to LeBrons game 6, it's not against the spurs in the finals but against the Celtics in the ecf when Miami was down 3-2 and won game 6 in Boston. He put up 45, 15,and 7 or similar and it was a dominating performance. There's clips on YT of kg talking about that game as he was on that Celtics team. But other than that you nailed this video again!

And he's on the payroll of Clutch Sports. He has a conflict of interest and should declare his opinions are wholly paid content. Without declaring that connection, he should be sacked. He's engaging in fraudulent behaviour
Also, Jordan played in a far more difficult era to score or be dominant in, making these clear difference in per game stats even more 1 sided over Lebron
Mj retired for a year in half comeback then won another 3 chips...retiring then coming back is alot harder than playing consistent...Jordan's wizards years was also after a 2 in a half year layouts....without the play-in tournament lebrons lakers are not even a playoff team
"they don't want you to bring up the times he didn't win in the middle of the 6 championships," Well yeah, it would be pretty stupid to count the years in which he wasn't really playing. That'd be like holding it against Lebron for not winning in 2001
The glaring detail that Cuck Wright ignores is that Jordan was the undisputed leader of his teams during his peak. While in 2013, LeBron was at best the number two option on the Heat.
Perfect game 6!! Dude had two turnovers and practically threw the game away. If it hadn’t been for Bosh and Ray he would’ve lost again. Dude just likes to recite stats but is either apparent or slick of him to put context into the stats.

Wright conveniently leaves out so many details. It’s okay to count two shortened seasons for LeBron because he happened to win titles in those years, but we have to count the nearly two seasons in which Jordan was out for retirement? Another thing that doesn’t get talked about now is the fact that LeBron has needed the play-in tournament to even qualify for the playoffs over the past couple of years. W/o that, what do his achievements in LA look like? Let’s face it. He’s had one noteworthy year since he’s been there and it’s stained by the bubble.
In the late 90's I was glued to the screen watching basketball. I can't even watch a game now. I've resorted to tuning into selective games in the 4th quarter. It does not have the same feel. 2024 basketball is very boring to watch 90's basketball from tip off used to be a thing.
Late 90s, I used to watch the Heat vs. the Knicks on tv all the time. They always seemed to broadcast that regular season game on national tv. The games were phenomenal and physical. There was so much bad blood. Then there were the playoff series - four years in a row they played. Phenomenal. Seems like one of those NBA rivalries that got lost with time.
