Thanks for the ideas. I really like the mashed potato pot hole for sauce. Can I suggest a variation on twice baked potatoes? Scrub and pierce whole potatoes, microwave until just tender. Carefully slosh some oil over them, season with S and P, wrap up in foil, or partially wrap and leave some exposed and bake in your air fryer. Or, you could just loosely rest the oily, seasoned spud on a bit of foil, to save mess. More crispy skin that way. Serve with sour cream and sweet chilli sauce, or sliced spring onions. I slice up a whole bunch and just freeze the spring onions for garnishes/flavourings.
I love my air fryer...when you make the wraps.....wrap the bottom part tightly with tin foil n it makes it stay wrapped n its easy eat....loved the plating of the Dino's
great idea Jill. the day after chicken wraps i used to make cold ones for school i would wrap bottom half in alfoil then wrap the whole thing in glad wrap. makes it easy for the little ones. have a lovely week mate xo 😊💜💐🥂

I just ordered one of these from Kmart in NZ today for $149. Could hardly believe what I was seeing with what you get for the price! I've been looking for a toaster oven to convert to a coffee roaster... and this one comes with a drum! I was like what?? Am I actually awake right now?
@@aussiegirlcancook Thanks. 200C isn't quite hot enough for coffee but I don't like a dark roast anyway so it'll be interesting to see how well it works.
I have the Phillips original which is small and a worse pain to clean than my built in oven. Love that all parts of the Kmart compact oven are removable for ease of washability the most. What size pizza can fit inside? And have you ever considered getting a bread maker- even just to knead and prove dough? Thankyou to your granddaughter for 😮😮😮 great 👍 advice ❤❤❤😊.

@@aussiegirlcancook I cook scones on 200 for about 13 minutes. I have also cooked them on the Oven function. I find that anything I cook takes about 5 minutes less than a normal oven but I keep a close eye on it. I use the lowest shelf too as they catch on the top if you are not careful.
I had one and my bride gave it away to her mate because she reckoned it was too big to travel around with in the van and brought me a little round one 😢 she’s just lucky she has other talents 😂😂❤️🙏
Fantastic. Questions. What is the top temperature? What is the internal size, yes I know 24lt but how wide and how deep? (Will it take my baking dish).I’ve been thinking about upgrading my air fryer because it’s too small. I thought about a Hysapentia but they’re WAY TOO EXPENSIVE. I make some awesome stuff in my pigmy air fryer but I really like the look of this one. Try bacon in it; if it’s anything like mine you’ll be amazed. Frozen chips. Frozen pies; just heat in the microwave and finish in the air fryer for a crispy crust. Chicken Kiev; start at room temperature and cook at 160c. Always use a lower temperature for anything with substance in an air fryer or it’ll burn the outside before the inside is even close to done; thin stuff no problem.

I have a similar one. The only problem I have is doing a roast and the bag swells up, catches the element at the top of the oven and bursts into flames! All else is great.
Good one mate 👍👍👍👍👍. I successfully burn most things in the air fryer much to young fellas disgust he says to cook his nuggets and chips for about 10min fryer always comes up with 20min and I assume someone much smarter than me designed it like that and successfully burn his dinner hahahaha
