I'm in Alaska. Even at - 25F this last winter I did sled pulls. At 50yrs old I can hike up/down mountains for bear hunting, wade through thigh high rivers for fishing season with no wobbly knees, and squat in my garden all day. Your program has maximized functional Alaska living!
HaPPy BirTHday Ben. Im 63 w some knee pain cos half of my life i was morbidly obese. Now lean & muscular w lifestyle & mental changes to age gracefully. Happy Birthday! I can’t tell you how much your program has changed not only my knees, but even my posture! I’m truly thankful for what you have worked so hard to build.

Happy birthday brother , you’ve helped me aswell as plenty of other people I know. I truly appreciate all of the amazing work you have done , keep doing what you’re doing and I hope you reap the fruits of your labor and have an amazing year 🤝
I’m still trying to get out of the hole , I use to be a complete beast , shredded . Rehab my own knee with your advice step downs and backwards walking up small hills . I’ll keep fighting upper body is easy , now I want to build legs all day . Thanks 4 tha motivation .
I don’t know if you remember me, but thanks to you, you got rid of my knee pain. There is just very very very little pain and I get a little uncomfortable when I I sit they still crack too and I will still your exercises to get rid of it, but I can run, jump, squat, leg press, and do leg days without any pain, like NO pain 0%. Thank you!!!
Happy Birthday!! Thank you for what you’ve created. Changed my life & many people on my life who I have put onto your program. Truly life changing! 👊🏾 ❤️
@@TheKneesovertoesguy thank you! 51, tore my patella, used to jump 45” playing University basketball & I could barely walk or touch my toes at Christmas. Back was always in pain. I can almost put my palms to the floor. Flexibility & strength immediately started improving. Back pain disappeared. Watched the video you did with Dr. Paul Saladino. Everything makes so much sense. Excited to see my kids using the principles & what their athleticism at 18 & 20 will be like when it’s unlocked! Most importantly they’ll be bulletproof for life! It’s an incredible gift. Truly. Keep going no matter what! This should be taught in all sports & life. Naysayers are simply foolish.
Happy birthday! You have helped so many people! I tweaked my knee about 2 months ago and it hasn’t gotten better. At a young 66 I refuse surgery. I ordered a weight pulling belt and have been walking big circles pulling a 50 pound weight in my house😊and I know I need to go to the next level but have nowhere to walk backwards and no gym in our small town so I’m trying to talk my husband into your treadmill. My grandson follows you and swears by everything you teach!
Hey Ben. Love what you are doing. I've been skateboarding for about 20yrs now, and at 37 years old i am definitely starting to feel some pain in my knees. Seeing your content gives me hope that i will be able to do what i love as long as possible. I will definitely be adding these into my workout plan. Thank you for what you do!
I've been skateboarding since my teens as well and I am 41 now. I partially tore my patellar tendon 3 years ago after ignoring patellar tendonitis and just skating through it. ATG's full range of motion strength training while scaffolding it pain free has helped a lot. It's actually what I've been missing for 10 years or so which probably led to the injury in the first place. I saw your comment and I just figured I'd give a fellow skater some hope. After all of this physical self improvement, I don't feel 41, at all. LOL Keep going brother.
I really enjoy your content....I have discovered you several months ago when I had a minor injury during heavy leg workouts really put stress on my ligament on my knee and Im an er nurse Tweaked it at work got sent home and had rehab. I dont think I ever had knee exercise during rehab like the ones you mention . Now Im seeing more peeps at my gym doing your knee movement and mobility... yes please do more content on your principles of importance of prevention and mobility
Happy birthday ben . i had an acl surgery last month . i will surely try your exercises after 3 months after my physiotherapy session . i am really excited . god bless you ben and your lovely family ❤❤
Keep me posted! Have helped hundreds with similar ACL issues regain ability by following a similar approach! Checkout this article: www.atgonlinecoaching.com/articles/knee-ability-zero-basics-pro
@@TheKneesovertoesguy it would be awesome if your wife would lead a live showing women how to maintain their figure after having kids. That a whole lot of women out there that can benefit from her expertise and knowledge as an athlete. I believe she can strategically bring you many new female clients. I’m impressed by your family brand. I Would like to see your wife create a healing based fitness regimen for mommies post natal recovery and growth. That would be awesome Ben!! Again yesterdays live was awesome.
Ben still getting a workout and video up on his birthday. 👏🏻 👏🏻 Wild to see a bunch of the people who are affected by your vision becoming a reality in a single room. Happy Birthday Ben!! 🥳 🎂 🎉
Happy Birthday BEN (Belated). I love how you have included your whole family. It would be a dream come true for me. ❤❤. As a fitness coach, am using your free program to help very many clients who suffer from Knee and back pain. Thank you so much for your BIG heart plus so much gratitude goes out to your WIFE, Allisa, GROWING side by side as you build and create such a global impact. Greetings from Uganda ❤
Happy Birthday and thank you for taking the time to educate/help anyone w/injuries or not. I appreciate all your live videos immensely. Should you stretch your calves after doing your exercises ? Mine are beyond tight usually causing lower back tightness. Thank you
Happy birthday Ben thanks to you I have helped so many people being a certified ATG coach in Auckland New Zealand 🇳🇿 you’re truly a great coach mentor and friend we love you brother hope to chat soon -D C
Would be great to see people that have all the deficits and are overweight/pain issues. Show a longitude version over time as they progress. I do like the live examples. and happy bday!
Happy late Birthday! If you are slowly piecing together ATG home gym (I have sled, ATG buddies and tib bar) would you rate mobility box or Nordic bench next on the list to get?
HBD BP!! 🎉 Is there a significance to training tibs both with 90° bent knee (seated) and straight knee (classic zero standing version or tib bar on bench?)
Ben, thanks for sharing your knowledge. I have I improve my knees and overall fitness but more importantly my body longevity has changed for ever. However, I develop plantar fasciitis on my left foot. I play volleyball on my 40’s and I was wondering if any of the exercises could be related to this? Has anyone had this problem by doing any of the ATG exercises? Just wondering
Thanks for reaching out! To improve the foot ability I would checkout this breakdown: ATG Foot, Ankle, Achilles & Shin Guide ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_2RZkfw6Y1g.html Just backwards walking can be a great start!
@@TheKneesovertoesguy I currently do all foot exercises for the last 2 years. You didn’t answer my question. Has anyone develop plantar fasciitis after doing all the ATG routines? Since I have improved my tendons and muscle flexibility, could my steps and overall stride changed so much that changed the way I even walk? I took ATG exercises to heart and it changed my whole workout routine
Hey ben, can you make a video on periodization? Isaiah Rivera was saying that periodization makes one gradually reach their best potential of dunking while doing olympic lifts and other exercises that have high transfer or conversion towards jumping higher makes a person gain quick progress but plateau later. I've got only 1.5years left and I can only reach a height of 9ft at a height of 5'9". So I don't know if I should periodize or start with other exercises to get my first dunk. As after 1.5-2years I'll graduate from college and wont get to play basketball anymore. It's my dream to dunk atleast once in my college life.😢 Also happy birthday Ben! 🎉
This would be best for Courtland Holloway and Connor Barth, who run our Jump section. Check out the ATG Exercise RU-vid where they dropped a jump video yesterday! ❤️
Hi Ben, Happy Birthday brother. I just had a quick question, is there a reason why you don't include isometrics for rehabbing knee pain, because I've heard from others that they also help along with the exercises that you show. Thanks, love from Canada.
Nothing wrong with doing them, but I would make sure you prioritize these movements as well. We want to build the knee’s ability through movement, but you can absolutely utilize those as well if you find it helps!
This is a bit unrelated but how do you prevent middle back pain? I do back extensions, jefferson’s, and seated good mornings but my middle back will ache from time to time. I do seated cable rows with a close grip attachment which absolutely annihilates the middle back but it seems to take days on end to recover and it’s been this way for months. Any tips? Appreciate all the work you do; you’ve absolutely changed my life and my comfortability in my body.
Appreciate your comment and support! Have a video covering everything I know about the lower back, but these movements will also address the middle back as well.
