Mike, I know you made this video two years ago but after purchasing a KneeRover after my leg surgery, it is reassuring to watch this.. and so helpful. After 3 weeks of crutching around, I am so happy to have the scooter and this video!
Many thanks for taking the time to create this excellent instructional video. It is so helpful for those of us who suddenly find ourselves trying to maneuver through our daily lives, while relying on an unfamiliar assistive device. The information you provide is very practical and helpful. Good luck to everyone who needs a knee scooter❤
My wife very recently broke her right ankle in 3 places.....tibia + fibula both involved. She just underwent surgery yesterday & is being kept hospitalized likely for at least 2-4 days before being released. We now need to decide whether or not she will need to go for 7-10 to stay at a rehab facility. At any rate, thank you for this EXCELLENT video of your personal experiences especially demonstrating the proper usage of the 'KNEE ROVER' knee scooter. I'm sure we'll go this route for her (nothing but the very best, of course) to make an otherwise very difficult situation as comfortably manageable as possible during her challenging road to recovery. Many KUDOS to you for making such a well designed VIDEO in order to hopefully assist others during the healing & rehab process. Thanks very much for your time & efforts in making this informative video available to those in need of both illustrative & excellent tips & stellar overall information regarding the advantages of such beneficial equipment ! Steve & Nancy M. in AZ. 👍🏼 🤗
Thank you so so much for this Video. I have a sprained ankle and ordered a knee rover on amazon, i can‘t wait to get rid of my crutches. It arrives tomorrow.
Perfect for new knee scooter users Mike. So glad you shared this video with me the other day. Have had 2 stints with scooters the last few years and I can tell you that this video is much needed and spot on. For the sake of safety, seems like KneeRover and other manufacturers should share this scooter wisdom with all of their customers - it would definitely cut down on accidents. Well done Mike!!
Thank you for the demo. You are so positive. I have foot surgery coming up and the thought of not being able to get around my home, except in a wheelchair is depressing. Crutches are not good for me. This is uplifting.
Thanks for this video! Tore my Achilles tendon and am having surgery in two days. I'm practicing on my kneerover now. This is very helpful as I'm worried about getting around the house.
I appreciate that you’ve taken time to help other people, including myself. Where I’m still in the mist is ‘bad leg closest to the car door” as my bad leg is the other one (L). I think I’ll figure something out though, and I’ve learned some very useful cool stuff from your video. Just seeing someone in action is really helpful to a newbie, so thank you!
Thanks for video mike, i was in bad car accident month ago open fracture of tib and fib right leg and broken hand. I’m going to attempt to go back to work this week I’m a professional auto window tinter and I would love to vlog my days to help people as well on info. Which leads to my question what are you using for camera a recording in this video
Thank you very much for the tips and helpful demonstrations with the kneerover. Do you perhaps have another tip on how to handle steps with it? For example, going down a high curb. And are you always dependent on the help of another person when you want to go from the ground floor to the first floor and take the kneerover with you? Or do you use a backpack, for example? Best regards. Nico from Germany
How can I find out how I can make sure the height of the steering bars is appropriate for my body? The handlebars got in the way of my being able to reach for things so now it's screwed to the top setting/hole. Any help?
Getting in and out of the car requires that you have somebody to bring your kneerover to the passenger door. If your bad foot is your left foot you could actually drive a car but I don't really condone that.
Here's another good video about various brands of knee rovers. Regardless of which one you buy, get one with tires that are like small bike (inflatable) tires. They are a must for maximum mobility. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-HlnQkGi5GpI.html
