We are finally back with a new shop update! One positive of being in a pandemic is that we will finally have time to make some more RU-vid videos! It has been a super busy week in the shop. We finished up a Damascus steel Nakiri, a set of knives for groomsmen's presents, and a few other knives that you can check out in the Knives of the Week segment! Let us know in the comments which of this update's blades is your favorite and if you have any videos you would like to see us make.

We are a team of two brothers that creates handcrafted knives. From the initial designing and grinding of the steel blanks to the final sanding of the handle, each step of the process is done by hand, which makes every knife that comes out of our shop 100% unique. In all of our blades, we strive to combine the clean lines of modern design with excellent performance, so that your knife will do its job properly and look great in the process.
Thank you very much for watching! If you enjoyed the video and would like to see more, we'd love it if you would subscribe by hitting the red button above.

Cool knives! Love the contrast of the acid washed bevels, what acid do you use? I’ve tried a few and never really got super good results, Great blooper reel😂😂

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed the bloopers haha! I use ferric chloride mixed with water. Making a video about my acid washing process is on the list of videos I want to make so stay tuned. :)

Where do you get those handles from? Also very nice work. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you! Quite a few different sources. Just to name a few: The Blank Space is a guy we work with a lot for resin/wood hybrids, and then Arizona Ironwood has a lot of nice pure woods. There are quite a few others, but those are two sources we probably use the most.

My pins are coming out a bit proud when I finish sanding, how do I combat this? Am I pressing too hard?
@StarkKnives

That can happen pretty easily if your handle material is softer than the pin material (which most handle material is haha!). One thing you can try to do is use a hard backing for your sandpaper when hand sanding over the pin area. That can keep everything level pretty well.
