They are making clones today that are literally almost impossible to tell the difference. I'll stick with my Spyderco PM2 lefty. No one is going to fake a left handed knife lol

Yeah the bugout is my favorite clone hands down of all the clones I’ve tried. But the authentic bugout is incredibly sharp. I’ve been using it all day and it is making quick work of what I need it to. But it’s still pretty comparable
I would love to see a "blind" comparison between an authentic bugout vs. a clone. Get one of each and have a friend mark each one with a letter or number to keep track of which is which. Then, you use them both for a week or two and provide an honest opinion about how they perform. At that point, have your friend reveal which is which.
Maybe if I get to the point where I can monetize my videos I’ll start buying and testing knives again. That got real expensive real quick and i’ve got diapers and baby stuff to buy these days lol. But I will keep that in mind for sure

That's not a clone. That's a counterfeit. It's not a design copy but a complete ripoff down to trademarks and logo. A clone without the Butterfly logo is morally questionable, the counterfeit is morally indefensible.
