There should be a device, when you press Eject R, under the passenger seat that quickly jumps the seat upwards a few inches just to scare the hell out of your passenger.

It's a bit too early to make a KITT car. The technology is almost here, but not quite yet. There's deepfake technology and voice assistant technology in the near future that when combined, will allow a KITT voice to respond naturally to your commands, and even carry on a conversation in real time. There's self driving technology in the near future that may take over your car in Auto mode, just as KITT does, when you're sleepy. Almost all of those KITT buttons will actually work, exactly as they were intended, quite soon, instead of what they do now, which is make beeping noises.

Execept you won't have turbo boost, super pursuit mode, those top- and cornering speeds, invisible seat belt system, bomb prove trunk and so on. Hollywood made it sci-fi proof :-)

Why do the gauges fluctuate so much? Surely pressures, temperatures etc would stay pretty static, as would range estimates. The DTMF tones are just plain awesome!!

Oh my goodness... did the alphanumeric display just say "I'm the Knight Industries 2000"? CRINGE!! Hate hate hate random, erratic, nonsensical dash displays that look like KITT is being electrocuted like in Lost Knight.
