Great video! I loved how the functionality of the electronics in the car was prioritized over aesthetics. It's a fantastic example of how technology can be designed with a purpose to address specific needs and functions. This reminded me how IBM's approach to innovation involved letting their development team play and experiment which resulted in useful inventions. There was an Alan W. Watts lecture that I happened to listen to some time back, where he spoke about how the universe is predisposed to play and that creativity often flourishes when there is no regimented approach - the team is free to create and experiment. It is interesting to see what emerges from all this. Thank you for sharing this video, it's always exciting to see creative and functional electronics being implemented in new and innovative ways!
Thank you, Matthew - We wanted to create a visually accurate replica of the TV car, but with all indicators representing real functions. This was quite a challenge, but I think we achieved exactly that after many years of development. Your words of encouragement are much appreciated. - Neil
