@@latetodagame1892 since it starts with a "K", the word "Knipex" is pronounced very differently depending on the person, anywhere from Kuh nih pecks to Ny pucks. So he's purposefully saying it not even close to right.
I have the spring loaded Knipex, best $70 ever spent. I make and cut my own chainmaille rings with them. Thickest I've cut is 12g stainless. Bought them in 2012 or 2013. Thousands of rings cuts, mostly stainless, no problems whatsoever.
I got introduced to Knipex cutters by my Snap-On dealer back in the 90's. The difference in performance was so big compared to anything Snap-On or Mac had, I purchased a set on the spot.
Eu vejo que todos aqui nos comentários estão mais interessados na pronuncia "KI-POCK" do propriamente da bela revisão e comparativo entre as duas ferramentas. Eu estou perto de comprar para mim uma Knipex. Parabéns pela bela revisão das ferramentas.
Really impressive cutting and almost quarter inch steel rack with chrome on it.. it took two hands but that's a hell of a cut for a set of cutters that fit in your hand like pliers... I do like the fact that the Knipex cut through that cable that stuff can be a bitch sometimes.. Nice work....
I would use a saw for a toilet bolt. The porcelain could take damage, and the thread of the bolt will take damage. And in the US the toilet bolts are made of brass, so a very soft metal and easy to cut or saw. For larger things I've got the big brother of the CoBolt, with a 91cm grip (36"). I was suprised that the CoBolt cut the stranded wire, bolt cutters are designed to cut hard metal objects. Stranded wire is to soft for them, for this task a diagonal cutter is better.
Great video thanks brother. The braded wire is hard to cut. They make a tool just for that type of wire. I do like the comparison you did great job. Keep up the great work see you in the next video thanks
Cara, onde acho esse Monster mini bolt? Seus vídeos são incríveis. Acho engraçado quando acaba de cortar um cabo e diz: “sem hesitação”. Eu vejo que você é fan numero 1 da Channellock. Um abraço para você me camarada. “Kypoc” sei que fala da Knipex como uma pequena brincadeira. Valeu fera!
This is the best pronunciation I’ve heard about “KNIPEX”….😂😂 🤣🤣The company needs to pay you royalty for creating another line of tools of “KHYPOX “😂😂😂 but to be fair it’s a good review👍🏼. But I think they pronounce it like ka-ni-pex or perhaps I’m the one who is wrong coz I prefer Khypox😝.
It's a joke based in how many different pronunciations I've heard on youtube. I know how the Germans pronounce it. I'm also aware that people are very ardent about how their pronunciation, which often differs from the German pronunciation, is correct. I came up with my own pronunciation as a passive protest. Rest assured, no matter I pronounce it someone will tell me I'm wrong.
To each their own...as a proper name, I prefer the original German pronunciation... but have also heard English speaking Knipex employees drop the “K”.... I figure Knipex don’t care how you say it as long as your\’re spreading the word. For what it’s worth, your pronunciation is really starting to grow on me... I may be a Kypock convert.
I have cut harder than 5/32. It is more of a struggle but will do the job. Remember to cut as soon as you finish welding. They cut twice as easy when the filler rod is warm.
Deseo conseguir unos alicates de ésa marca, pero aquí no trabajan, sólo los CROSSMASTER y están muy caros, tengo unos alicates comunes y los uso con mis árboles Bonsai, para cortar los alambres e incluso ramas!
Maybe not, just imagine the vast amount of money you're saving from not using inferior tools! Time is definitely money! Money well spent on quality tools. That's what I tell the budget troll anyway. 🤣
07:00 this is no business for these they are bolt cutters but you're reaching a diameter that is more appropriate for their much older sisters the big ones used by firefiighters construction workers military I don't know how you call the big ones thanks for sharing
I can honestly say I’m a fan of knipex but for the price you paid for the monster brand was very cheap. I can’t see where you’d go wrong with the monster brand as long as you stay within reason. My biggest concern is, did you pick up all the pieces you cut? If you didn’t hopefully I don’t drive through there any time soon 😂!
+Bobby DaBoss Salvadras I made sure I did it next to that shrubbery just in case I couldn't find any of the pieces so that if nothing else they would land in the flower bed.
It's not K''ee''nipex it is simply knipex without ''ee'' not even silent ''K'' and so far probably is not KIPOX or something like that it is German not American. Type Knipex in google translate to hear how it is correctly pronounced.
How can you make a comparisson video without even knowing the Knipex brand? They have their own youtube channel featuring videos in english. They also have a video on the Cobolt: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-sNwZPpW_Z4g.html "KEIPOK?" Knipex doesn't even have an O in the brand name...
MadMetalManiac74 you would say that because im a girl you think im wrong ! I sale bolt cutters for living ! I test these cutters everyday amongs other ones
@@joannecampbell6760 honestly I didn't even look at your profile name. Sorry but sales person doesn't equate to people like me who use them for real work day in and day out. Nice to see you can play the gender card though smh 😏. Nothing you said was even true. How does a cutter work better positioned at an angle when that would put more material across the cutter? You dont even make any sense. Its pretty weak that all you have for a rebuttal is virtue signaling.
In case you didn’t know it’s pronounced (KAH-NIP-EX) yes you pronounce the K all in itself before the NIP-EX, which is so strange, but it is what it is I guess.
If your doing a video, get your names right!! Monster, what's that a prize for drinking and promo on your youtube? Knipex is a known longtime name. I know who I'm going with.
