I saw some of your other episodes before this and thought to myself 'she must only film on wash days' - it always looks so good! I too have no patience for diffusing. I set a timer for 8 minutes and that's my limit.

Hi - I have really enjoyed your videos (thank you!) but super liked the curly talk today. Our journeys sound pretty similar - finding a specialy curl stylist has been a game changer for me. I had short hair for so many years because I was tired of trying to figure out what to do with my wavy/curly hair. I have been growing it out for the last 3 years and my hair has gotten a lot more curly (very similar to yours - thick and ringlets). It has been fun to discover and just roll with it now. Thanks for taking the time to sit and chat - LOVE it.

I’m so glad you liked it! I feel like curly hair is sometimes both a blessing and a curse because when you know how to work with it it is so unique and beautiful, but if you’re having trouble with it then it is just so unmanageable. That moment when everything clicks and you find your routine is just beyond amazing. I’m so glad you’re loving your curls now 😊 also, I am seriously always happy to talk about hair so let me know if there’s anything more you want me to discuss.

This was SO much fun, Bonnie! I knitted while watching. 😊😊. I’m brand new, so I’m knitting pattern swatches. Today was the Horizontal Parallelogram.

I’m glad you liked it! I had to look up what the horizontal parallelogram was but that is such a fun stitch pattern. I feel like it’s a perfect swatch to practice really reading your knits and purls, so great job!

This was perfect to watch while knitting! I’m knitting a lace pattern that I need to pay attention to - this was easier to knit along to than a video where I want to see lots of projects! (I like those too, but I watch with coffee and easier knitting 😊).

I have had an almost identical hair journey as you...only difference, I didn't learn about my curls until 5yrs ago when I was 58. I'm in a small rural area in Canada...I attended a demonstration night at a salon about 45min from my house, to learn more. Turns out, the speaker was a stylist from my neighbouring small town! I agree...curly cuts are the best! Since going curly, I've had complete strangers approach me to compliment my hair 😊. Yours is gorgeous ❤

I think you should knit a hood.. Instead of a hat. And I'm saying this because I want to knit a hood but I need other people to do it to inspire me 😂. Tyler from wool needles hands just released an episode about hoods... So I'll be following that closely.

I saw that wool needles hands episode. I got kutovakika’s grandmother core pattern and the free Friends of the Forest one. I plan to knit both. The thought f nit needing to manage a scarf and hat intrigues me.
