Today I have had a lot of hiccups which last from 15 minutes to an hour and it feels like a burn in the chest or upper stomach, it comes and goes, Idk if that's a sign I should worry about, I got a bit sick and i'm on medication so it could a side effect but Idk I'm worried

I work a very physical demanding job. I got off work, ate dinner, was relaxing in my chair before bed. Maybe 2 to 3 hour after working my left shoulder, under my arm ribs(the side), peck and the deltoid on top on my shoulder locked up so bad it wouldn't release for like an hour. It was hard to take deep breaths cuz it move stuff and hurt. Everyone's worries made me start to worry. It finally relaxed after waking the gf and putting icy hot. The muscles themselves hurt when I poke them and I feel like I'm not dying just injured/ dehydrated ty ty ty

I feel these symptoms regularly, but I do have something else wrong. I have so many different symptoms anyway.

Very useful. In terms of actual symptoms, it’s the nausea, sudden sweat and pain on left shoulder/arm, from experience. Many of these can manifest for days, but sudden sweating on top of other symptoms (without intense activity or change in temperature) might mean things are going downhill rapidly.

When intercostal muscles get tense (f.x. after feeling very anxious or experiencing a lot of stress) you experience discomfort or chest pain. When you breathe in an irregular fashion (f.x. because of anxiety) in conjunction with bad posture you can experience chest pain. When you have too much attention on your bodily symptoms you might perceive chest pain (that is really just a part of normal bodily symptoms). So, you can experience chest pain for variety of reasons. Just, be ready if it doesn't go away or gets worse, then you might have to worry, OR it's in conjunction with other heart attack symptoms.

My advice is to exercise if you are worried about experiencing heart disease. You should get into a habit of running for 10-20 mins every other day. It's very good for your heart as it will lower your resting pulse and your lung capacity will increase meaning you can increase oxygen into the body. This will improve your fitness asw as you will be able to run similar distances with greater intensity. Now the best way to know if somethings wrong is if you go for this run I've just told you about and you stop. Not because you're out of breath or tired, but because you feel pain in your legs or severe left shoulder and arm pain. If this happens get it checked asap otherwise if you run regularly and you never feel any of these pains afterwards then you're probably fine As for running, sprinting is definitely the optimal choice. So with these regular runs push yourself towards the end and then walk whilst standing up as straight as possible to allow more oxygen into your lungs and not to tense up your calf muscles. Marathon runners are at risk of developing heart disease depending on how often they run. If you're running long distances on a regular basis it means your blood pressure is high. Whilst it's good to increase your blood pressure temporarily through exercise it can damage the arteries if overdone. Be careful. Recovery is just as important as exercise.

Yesterday I had my shoulder joint hurt really bad almost like I slept on it wrong...woke up today and it was gone and whenever I roll over in my bed it's like the middle part of my chest hurts but no other symptoms...just had a CBC blood test just the other day and everything came back normal

I went to my cardiologist to get my heart checked since I was worried that I would’ve had a heart condition. I was experiencing left arm discomfort but only on a tiny spot or sometimes it spreads around the whole arm. I was experiencing palpitations too, turns out that I lacked vitamin B12. Explains the fatigue and pain all over the body.

From what I remember, the nerves under my skin get irritated. About two years later, now it’s something different. When I move a certain way, I get mild pain in my chest. I don’t really get it sitting still. Like right now I don’t have any pain or pressure in my chest. I dunno. Maybe back to the doctor.

I am experiencingl random events of left chest pain even left pectoralis area muscle spasms when I am on Driving sitting position in my car. I get winded easily doing light physical activity and now I am having left shoulder pain sometimes I feel the "pop" sound when I do certain arm movements.- is my heart in trouble?

This was very stressful. It's so hard to tell the difference between anxiety and fatigue, and these heart problems. No one listening either. If you have anxiety, everyone always blames the symptoms on anxiety. So how am I supposed to know?!

I had a family. Friend who had heart burn and was throwing up blood during the night he died in the middle of the night I saw him being carried out on the stretcher this is the first time someone close to me has died it’s sunken in the he’s gone and hits hitting me like a truck when I think about it this makes me worry for my parents because he was a few years younger than them this is the first time someone close to me has died it’s sad and the thought he was healthy (to my knowledge) and this happened I worry because maybe he would’ve been saved if he was found earlier I just hope this never happens to my family your family or anyone it’s sad to think about how he dead and I won’t be able to talk with him joke around with him I liked him he was a good person

ok, so you have these symptoms...you go to the dr, your heart is ok. BUT the symptoms persist, they say its skelatolmuscular. how often are they wrong, you go home, and a few months later its happening again. its not your heart, they say...can heart attack just happen with no underlying pathology?

How do these symptoms relate to women & heart attacks? I've always been told women can have different symptoms & in this video you talked about guys & showed men so I am not sure if these symptoms also apply to women as well.

I think in America its alot less about being a "guy" versus the fact that its going to cost you thousands even with insurance.

Right now there is pain in my left arm😃. The past two weeks my chest has been hurting, but I found out it was just health anxiety and a panic attack. Then my stomach felt like I was getting stabbed. Doc Mike: Could you do some videos about women and heart disease/coronary events? I have a late 40s high school friend who had a heart attack. Her only early symptom was and then . Sometimes symptoms can be easily dismissed such as shortness of breath on exertion (SOBOE), fatigue and heart symptoms (pain, tightness, palpitations) while exercising or doing hard work. Dismissed as deconditioning, etc. Women’s CVD and particularly small vessel disease (SVD), is different vs men’s CVD.

So what about this, i started having this weird pain in my jaw today, i am overweight, don't exercise and the since last week have had this uneasy feeling, not pain just kind of like when you fly past a cop on the road you get that feeling in the pit of your stomach. that sensation comes and goes frequently and i keep feeling like my eyes are playing tricks on me too, like when you see floaties but these are more like spots white and black like flashes, but small and mainly out of the corner of my eyes... what do you think?

what if its just left chest pain and shortness of breath

I have had chest pain and shortness off breath for 5 days

I had all of these symptoms last night at the same time but no chest pain at actual time of event. Afterwards now chest still hurts. The event itself was scary. Very dizzy and slowmo with huge deep long breaths that I couldn’t control into normal breaths. I’m 28. I’m not the healthiest 28 year old but I take decently good care of myself. This doesn’t make any sense to me. I’m not some soda drinking McDonald’s addicted slob….
