@GardeningUpbeat
@GardeningUpbeat 4 года назад
@Bhavana Soni, thank you very much for your feedback Bhavana ji, appreciate it :-) I think you are worried about your Cypress vine since you love your plants a lot. No worry, it would do well in coming days. Since you have recently twisted them, they are doing like that. But having said that, plz also note that, they won't do great if there is not enough air circulation :-( I am sorry to say, they won't like to grow very well if you want them to wrapped only on the surrounding part of the ring keeping middle part empty. So, you can allow them to cover the entire ring. I hope you are getting what I am trying to say. With less airflow, they might get attacked by Spider mites. Anyway, nothing to worry and I know they are going to do fine. Plz let me know if there is anything I can do. Thank you once again :-)

@GardeningUpbeat
@GardeningUpbeat 4 года назад
@Bhavana Soni, Good Morning Bhavana Ji, it's Okay and you are not disturbing me at all :-) Sorry to know about the issue and hopefully we would be able to fix the plant :-) Since you took off them very carefully, I don't think there is a chance of broken stems. Black round stuffs - Can you tell me if you can see some webbing form on the leaves as well? If yes, I suspect it's spider mites which I wrote on my previous reply. If not, can you send me an email with a close pic to my email id - gardeningupbeat[at]gmail.com? Definitely, I would do my best to provide you a solution. However, if it's Spider Mites, then you can use Neem oil. And, if it doesn't work and you don't have any issue while applying Chemical pesticide, then you can use Rogor, Tafgor, Roket etc (Max 1 ml in 1 liter water). Roket is very powerful and all are poisons and so plz be extremely careful if you decide to use them.

@GardeningUpbeat
@GardeningUpbeat 4 года назад
@ramya jegannathan, I believe, you are referring your Mandevilla plant here and not Calendula. In my previous reply, I explained almost all the things. For trimming - you can do it now or Mid-End of March (much preferred). They don't grow actively in Winter season and fertilizing them at this time is not that important. But still, if you want to do, you can apply around 20-30 grams Mustard cake powder + 20 grams bone meal. All organic and Mustard cake and bone meal work for almost all flowering plants. I am also going to test few organic fertilizers from Amazon. Definitely I would share the result n if result is good, perhaps you can also use it. Going to do it as I know Mustard cake is not available everywhere. And, anyone can buy a thing online easily instead of searching here n there.

Hi I’m having mandevilla plant... it’s growing tall but not blooming... can suggest me with this?
@GardeningUpbeat
@GardeningUpbeat 4 года назад
@ramya jegannathan, Mandevilla plant - great beauty :-) Well, they are mostly grown as Summer flowering plant. They still bloom on Nov-Dec, but not like Summer. I have 2 of them in one container - White & Red and they have almost stopped blooming (only 3 blooms today). But they were blooming well till around end of October. So, I believe you don't have to worry about your Mandevilla too much. Instead, you can grow other vines that are going to bloom almost from January. Few examples - Garlic creeper, Orange Trumpet vine etc. Garlic creeper blooms throughout the whole year (once in 3-4 months).
@ramyajegannathan4673
