Society is soft now days and they don’t understand the culling process, no matter what age a dog is. Nice video

Good on you for recognizing the threat and choosing to eliminate the threat instead of dumping the problem onto someone else. Nobody likes putting dogs down, but sometimes it's necessary. I had a shelter adopt a very food aggressive Rottweiler to me without telling me about it, or the 2 other people the dog bit before us. Within a few hours the dog bit my girlfriend in the face over a rope and she was less than an inch away from losing an eye. How did the amazing people at the shelter react? They blamed us and almost didn't take him back - so yeah, these types who believe any dog can be saved do not make much sense.

Im willing to bet over half of the dogs on the planet are food aggressive to some extent. Thats no big surprise. Anyone that is going to adopt a dog should have to be proficient in ready body language. Really would hurt for every dog owner to know how. It is the way they communicate after all. Hope your girl friend made a full recovery. A dog always gives some type of warning sign bite a bite, it can be very subtle, but it’s easily there

All the times I was bitten was by dominant dogs, and this in the military. Handler aggression is an issue. Now that I breed dogs for farmers I will 100% avoid dominance in what I produce. I select against it. Top video.. down to earth and easy to understand.

100% spot on. Some dogs are so dominant that they've attacked the handler. Like police officers. Just recently a Dutch Shephard turned on hisn olice handler this animal was passed around from several department's. Yet they refused to accept that this animal was dangerous. This isn't the only mm sitsrion, especially dutchnp Shephard. Some dogs are so dominant that they're willing to die then obey. Its disturbing. A gentleman on youtube who owns a dutch Shephard who's very hard and just isn't suitable, yet he's breeding him because he's supposedly hard.

Thanks man. Studying on owning a Apbt in the future. I have a Malinois mix that my wife and daughter brought home at 4 months old about 2 years ago. We had never experienced a high drive dog before and they wanted to take her back but I had already become somewhat starched not to mention did not think it responsible to do so. So I researched and studied and finally through the contacts I had made from asking questions on breeder and trainer sites was able to find a trainer to train me in handling. It’s been a great two years developing a real bond with this dog using food and prey drive and eventually thug and bite work. I thank people like you that share this ideology of fairness and real consequences when people decide they want a working dog. You are doing the public a service.

yes there are some dogs that shouldn't be saved but you also have to take into consideration that some dogs have dominant issues due to wrong ownership and the people letting the dog get away with ANYTHING and then put that dog into the hands of someone else and that dog isn't the same way as soon as they are given limits and instruction i've see it first hand (now i will admit that there are dogs that even with limits and instruction are still a liability). I took in a staffie that was let to do ANYTHING she wanted and she was VERY dominant with her owners because as a pack animal she thought she was alpha and they allowed it. After i took her in and gave her limits and instruction that they didn't she became a great dog with me and others that gave her direction. She was completely different from what she was when i first took her in. Now on another note i had a bully that was temperamently unstable due to breeding and i did what was responsible in my opinion and had him put down. He was a liability and i could not and would not risk rehoming him and him attacking somebody but at the same time i wasn't going to keep him locked up for the rest of his life with no attention so i did what was needed. You're right you have to know when to call it. You have to have a limit. If they push past that threshold you have to call it like i did with the bully i had. I love dogs given the chance i will try to help any dog that's possible to be helped but as a person that knows dogs and as a mother i know there are some dogs that can't be helped....and the best situation for everyone including that dog is to have the dog put down.

The part about falling is interesting. What happens i you fall in a domestic situation, by accident, injury or illness. Could that provoke an attack from "game" dogs?

Not if you have a good dog...they are more apt to come wiggling over and kiss you.

Makes a lot of sense cuz when you think about nature how the week in the old get attacked by the predators predators on usually get their hands on the strong and Swift sometimes the young but that young is usually sick and you can tell only the parents and the Predator knows what you're saying makes a lot of sense

Good afternoon, In one of your videos you said that you were a scientist, Your the only man with dogs that I have ever heard say that! Is that what sets you apart from other kennels ? Also I think it's awesome that you create this line of dogs . Is there any way that we watching could see your registries PAPERS? And last How do you keep it going / staying motivated?, Thank you!!!!

Those are them unstable blue dogs, that gives the real APBT A bad look. Real APBT aren't people aggressive. Personally I don't see the value in them
@APBT-Bandog
@APBT-Bandog 8 месяцев назад
You are a bit mistaken. While many APBTs are very friendly and stable, there are indeed some gamedogs that were known to be man aggressive and many of them are very famous dogs that became well established bloodlines.
