Wow my baby daddy tried this on our son,i saw the way the boy was hyped to go spend time with him only for him to not show up and later give very lame excuse. Well that was the first and the last day i allowed that. I told him it's either he's in our baby's life or Not.never in between. I wouldn't allow him to play with the kids feelings like that.

Let me tell you, some of my single mom friends I always tell them to keep their kids miles away from dead beats because they are toxic and harmful to the children. These broken promises eventually break the kids. It's better they never get to know their dad's entirely than to have their kids cry themselves to sleep . At the end of the day it's the moms and the kids who feel the pain. The guy probably doesn't give a second thought to them . Thank you for sharing your story. Please talk to single moms. now let me go back to listening to the whole talk hehehe

I know this is his story and that his biological father came through when he needed him the most, but I still don't understand why the biological father should be praised like this when he wasn't even there for much more important things like offering leadership and being a role model
