It was definitely the mostunder-rated song in 2004. There was some real crap in 2004....and yet this did so bad. I would have had it at least top 5, maybe even top 3.
I still don't understand how this great song could finish last. Goodness knows there was a lot of actual garbage in the 2004 final that deserved that placing far more.
Injustice, this deserved top 10 at least. Beautifully sung (the backings are amazing) and a wonderful song with a strong message. It was my fav back then and still is, love it.
Agreed. I'm still feeling a little bit ashamed of the results for Sørum if you think that Shake it mi amor (Sakis Rouvas/Greece) went 3rd place. Is it a Song Contest or Fab-Ab contest?
Casto Ono I agree, it is HottieVision not Eurovision in this case - however I always found Scandinavian guys like Knut more sexy than this Greek guy who has reached top 10 twice only because of his looks.
If there was any song in the 21st Century that _should not have been_ last place, if you ask me, this would be it. Sørum's voice was strong, and the song's composition was endearing. Part of me wants to see him return to Eurovision and outdo himself.
Just 3 points from Sweden and finishing bottom . Yeah i don't get that at all . Solid song , performance, voice and they look great together ❤ deffo my 1st of 2004 , Belgium right up there too another brilliant song .
This song was one of my favorites that year! Definitely not last place worthy! One of my favorite Norwegian entries! Unpopular Opinion: Better than Fairytale!
Karsten Holst Thomsen Thank you! Well, this was 13 years ago. Last autumn he took part in Stjernekamp and sang a Eurovision winner: Euphoria!! That song nearly blew the air out of him! And so did the opera part: Nessun Dorma.
In those days it was about the SONG and the MUSIC - not about all the hoohaah going on behind the singer... or....are we just getting old?? No, can't be....!!

WHY DID THIS SONG FINISH THE CONTEST IN LAST PLACE? It has a really beautiful sound and may be the best last place song in the Eurovision Song Contest in the last 25 years (except 2020). I still don't understand why this was last as there was much worse that year (hello The Netherlands, Romania, Poland and Russia). Great vocals and a very anthemic song.
Canción muy bonita, quizá nada extraordinaria pero desde luego solvente. Tema estupendo, sonido envolvente y estribillo pegadizo, tal vez muy cool. Knut Anders Sørum es mono, no canta mal, su look informal y desenvuelto. Su puesto trigésimo quinto con 3 Puntitos de mierda es algo muy injusto!!! Escuchar los primeros acordes y pensar, me acuerdo de ella! 10 Puntazos!
You may ask Europe about this. I voted for it in Norway, could do nothing in Eurovision since I am Norwegian!!!! But all in Europe could say: It's a top 10 song, but I like this and that better and vote for those songs. Maybe that's how it works. But Knut Anders is a happy man now, soon to release his new album. Besides taking part in Stjernekamp, which is mentioned! All fans of him could follow him there on RU-vid or Nrk1 every Saturday, if you could recieve NRK 1 where you live!! He is just awesome!'##Stjernekamp.
I once, somewhat drunk, told him how much I loved loved loved this song (he is from my area), but that the ugly suit probably made him take last place 😂 It was more a rant than a conversation 🫠 He was nice enough to get me some food, and then he drove me home 😂 It was probably a good call 😅
+Joanna Sowoska. Knut Anders is a nice chap from Skreia, from the district of eastern Toten some miles from Gjøvik where parts of the Olymic games of 1994 took place. Toten does also belong to the district of Mjøsa, the largest lake of Norway. It's not accually the same as Athens and the Mediterranian sea. Forgive me my spelling. But does it really matter where you come from???

Helt sikkert.Ser ikke på stjernekamp,men han er en kjempegod vokalist.Det er låta jeg ikke liker å det er en annen sak.Det betyr ikke at artisten er dårlig ;)
