You should ask yourself first of all, what system is he playing? What’s the real worth of uncontested defensive rebounds and these assists where his teammates do most of the work off the ball or/and make contested jumpers on?is he getting those assists on easy feeds, pick n rolls and how’s his offensive speed?How that translates into Championship basketball, is it easy to game plan against? How adaptable is his system to talent around him, does it reduce stars and caps the team ceiling? What can film and some stats say about how he get these rebounds and what pace is he moving in order to “creat shots for others” is there a reason fans call him a “stat padder” is it just hate? The efficiency part was explained, 73-75% his points are within 10 feet, but you glossed over it, so here’s a follow up: What skills are more conducive to win big leverage games, is it being able to hit and creat your own shot from anywhere and being a high percentage free throw shooter. Or is it getting layups and dunks, sometimes reclusively because you don’t trust in your ability to make free throws, not taking jumpers when it’s not your night due to your inability of consistently making them opting out for “making the right play” relying on having great shooters and then relying on those role players making big shots. I can even share with you real stats that shows LeBron is clutch yet isn’t more clutch than Kobe, but he’s also the better playmaker and ball handler in the Finals, those stats always shock both players fanboys because of media narratives. As for Finals MVP, that’s rather weak, that argument is used to say someone was carried. Andre Iguodala is a better and more valuable player to the GSW than Steph I suppose. Did you factor in game-plan/system? Who had the favorable match up even injuries? How did Shaq perform against the Western Conference, how did Kobe. They were a partnership with Shaq being at his apex with the favorable match ups especially in the Finals. 2000 they wouldn’t made it without Kobe but that time he was 20 year old Robin and he saved their ass when Shaq was fouled out in the Finals. Look I love both these players LeBron will surpass Kobe and Duncan when it’s all said and done and he has his 4th ring and amazing career stats, but he’s not the better player or even a bette weapon for championship success than Kobe. His legacy will be greater, he’s a better version of his archetype (Oscar Robertson) and arguably the greatest SF. Kobe is not grater than the GOAT his archetype and best SG of all time, yes Kobe fans can say the bar is higher for Kobe but that’s what it’s we have to be fair to as many players as possible. Ppl don’t even have Isiah Thomas who created the Pistons legacy, Kobe inherited Laker lore, LeBron and Kyire were able to win Cavs their first chip, Jordan created the Bulls history, so that factors-in with these conclusions. Kobe is a better player and is for now ahead of Bron in 7th but can fall from anywhere 7th-13th all time. LeBron can fall anywhere from, hopefully 6th, 7th-10th. But Bron is a basketball genius he has figured out how to control the narrative and accumulate these stats with his system. I’m being nice to you, I wrote all this out in a manner where you’ll walk away and analyze this astutely realizing that i’m right. Peace.
