I tried the Kokum butter with my lotion bar recipe and it was drying. But I still like the smooth feeling it gives to the lotion bars. I decided to combine it with coco butter.

I would love to see you make a non comegenic facial moisturiser. I do wonder if the Kokum butter is drying to the skin but I understand you love this butter alot.

I used some emulsifying wax in mine so it can be used on wet skin too. Love the kokum and mango combo

@@kay0316 the emulsifying wax turns the butters into a kind of lotion on wet skin. Kokum and mango butters are less greasy and absorb quicker than say cocoa butter. Beware though, Kokum is crumbly, don’t use it in high %’s .. as I found to my chagrin lol. Do some research on emulsifying wax. Google and RU-vid has loads of info. It’s inexpensive also. It’s INCI name is polysorbate 60 and you’ll find it in any emulsified lotion ingredient list of products.

Thanks for the recommendation of Kokum Butter, I will check it out! I can't stand lotions that leave an oil slick on your skin. :) Can you tell me what the addition of the Arrowroot powder is for? If you said it in the video I'm sorry, I didn't catch it.

Arrowroot powder helps with any residual oilyness from the butters but you don't need much at all in this recipe I've even made it without the arrowroot

I am sorry I am a beginner so what is 3% of fragrance oil in ounces or is that in drops if so how many drops is 3%. Then you have 4% of FO OR EO so I thought that meant fragrance oil and Essential oil am I wrong? Sorry I am a bit confused. Maybe your video is for advanced not for beginners.
