If you want your dad on a paternity affidavit which is a different way of getting him on the birth certificate you can go through the state and demand a DNA test I'm not sure about your state but that's how we do it here in Iowa and that would also be an easier way to get him caught up in all his BS you girls are so brave I have so much respect for you

You are the real people who will actually make it to heaven or the afterlife or whatever you believe in. In case it is a concern: Adding a parent's name to a birth certificate won't change your legal name. Children can have different last names than their parents and it is becoming more of a common practice to have a different surname from a parent, a hybrid name, or something else all together.

I think abusive men, and that's what the cult leaders are basicely, have a fine instinct for which women are too strong ("rebellious") to be kept down and made weak, small und break them. These are the girls and women they don't like. That's nie of the reasons why women who have been abused already have tendencies to fall for the next abuser. Men acknowledge these women.

I think my friend got married at the warehouse! I was one of her ten bridesmaids. It was in the middle of July, and they didn't turn the air conditioning on for her, and they hadn't taken out trash so there were fruit flies everywhere! It was so hot her cake melted! I think they did it because she wasn't an order member! This was shortly after I had converted to the LDS church, and I remember the building just gave me super creepy vibes. Like it was dark and dingy, and sooooo flipping hot. 🥵 I felt so bad for my friend (my sister's friend more than mine but she needed bridesmaids.) I was the worst bridesmaid ever and I still feel guilty about it. I just stayed out of the way and hid in a classroom with my boyfriend.

Daniel was SO! Disrespectful at her wedding. throughing around his authority, making crazy rules, saying he’ll cancel the whole thing if she wouldn’t do such and such, and then just talking really bad about kollene at her ceremony. Poor girl has been through a lot ❤ 😔

K I haven’t watched this episode yet BUT back when the first few seasons of sister wives aired I used to watch it. I stopped watching right around the time that Kolleen was on that panel with the Anti-Polygamy group. She was by far one of my favorite people that ever came on that show so I’m excited to watch this episode.

Ive dreamed about 100 men and I dream about people the day before I see them and I dreampt many of my boyfriends before I got them but that it just means you get a glimpse of possible things to come, energies, connections, options. It does not dictate what you have to do or who your husband is.

I loved Escaping Polygamy and so glad you all continue to share your stories. I just watched Spotlight about the Boston abuse cases in the Catholic church which then lead to a worldwide movement of survivors speaking out and continue to do so. In my opinion, there is a problem of patriarchy at the root of all of these stories.

being a parent it breaks my hart i feel so sorry for all the kids that they belong to this twisted minds of mothers and fathers THE ORDER now they should pay for all the pain and abuse they give there kids
