@@MeatloafAnderson Yes well I may be a little oversensitive having suffered peladophobic abuse for premature glabrous pate at around 19-23 solar orbits. Strangely, chaetophobia hasn't been a reciprocal problem although I suffered a little trichophic paranoia proportionate to the northbound transitory hairline.
He's popular and draws them an audience the don't normally get. He's done this more than once. He wasn't in studio this time because he didn't want to haul his giant balls down there.
Many were banned from the BBC like the sex pistols singer for knowing what Jimmy Savile and Gary Glitter were doing to young kids. They are full of scandels regarding pheadophillia. I a msurprised they never got shut down as they not fit for purpose.
I like how Konstantin never brought the debate down to a low level, he was well measured, delivered his thoughts with clarity and even though he was scrutinising the BBC's own agenda he did so with respect for the platform he was broadcast on. Classy.
@Chris VW T4 Chris, it's baffling isn't it? I can only think it's an extreme ideology at work albeit on a massive scale. History is littered with such extremists - for example, if you tried to rationalise the thinking of Pol Pot, it would probably drive you insane. The difference with what's happening now, is its all being done by stealth, aided and abetted by the likes of BBC propaganda. I've not heard a single person arguing to remain in the EU admit that he/she doesn't believe in Borders or national sovereignty. They always hide behind the economic argument. This alone demonstrates their dishonesty.
@Richard Porter Thats more to do with elitism & whos not allowed to say these things. Also (I can't stand Jo's act btw) I wouldn't hold Carl or Jo responsible if any idiot did these things, that's on them. She wasn't live when she said it & quickly clarified herself so maybe they should be looking at the Marxist (possibly) editor who clearly was making a statement by allowing it through. In fact, that's what the police, prosecution & judge said in Marcus Meechan's case was what basically you said. Can't have it both ways. The right, centre & left should be allowed to joke and none should be allowed to call for direct action which sadly, IS allowed to go on if you're associated with antifa & the likes but not say, proud boys or some religious Zealots. If comedy dies, then we become unemotional robots at some point & might as well all be dead then.
The problem is that they don’t have free speech. You can certainly make an argument for it, but it doesn’t exist in the UK. Without it, the next best thing is equal application of the law. As of now, the left has free speech and the right does not. How can you expect to correct that situation when half the voters are not inconvenienced by the problem?
Thank god you're a Russian Jewish immigrant... If an English person (as described by John Cleese) challenged the narrative like you do, they would be branded as a biggot and never allowed back.
He didn't challenge anything. He called the establishment's "Diversity Agenda" a "good thing." Diversity of thought, if it's intelligent thought, is a good thing, equal opportunity for all races is a good thing, lack of discrimination is a good thing, but the "Diversity Agenda," in capital letters, in the _way_ it's promoted by the establishment currently, and with some of the stated goals as to the real motives behind it which are not to actually help most of the minority groups it claims to be trying to help in the first place, are not a good thing, so why would he say that? He pulled the wool over everyone's eyes with his "brave and honest," but actually totally common sense, comments at the start of the segment, that throwing battery acid on people is bad (duh) and that there is a double standard as to who gets away with "jokes" like that and who doesn't in modern Western society (duh), but then he used that sleight of hand to completely back the establishment in the second half of the second, saying that THEIR "Diversity Agenda" is a good thing.
John Cleese didnt challenge the narrative he stated London isnt an English city. By definition it is. London is a city in England. Maybe he meant something else but didnt have the juice to say it.
Isn’t it fucking ridiculous that you have to fit a certain profile to be able to speak about something controversial now, for fear of being ostracised or worse? The double standards are outrageous.
Alexander Franke Nobody is asking for special rights. Konstantin is highlighting a mission creep in Policing speech. Enforcement first targets high profile cases (for obvious reasons) ... then your children will be next.
Under a democracy, the best way to get rid of a bad law is to enforce it. Selective enforcement that punishes half the population to the benefit of the other half will create a stalemate in changing the law. If Sargon is getting investigated and Count Dankula has to go to jail over bad jokes, then letting a leftist comedian off for encouraging acid attacks because she thinks it would be funny only reinforces the idea that conservative speech is becoming a criminal offense. That is a path to an authoritarian democracy.
@@libertydefenders8276 Brand has much going for her that makes her untouchable. She's an ageing, over-weight woman. If, like you say, she's jewish. Then she's not just untouchable, she's bullet proof.
I love Konstantin's razor sharp mind and the calm and polite way that he calls bullshit on the snowflake generation. Seek out Trigonometry if you haven't already found it for more of the same.
I'll give you a joke from communist Poland you could adapt and say in the future; 'What is a difference between Polish and American constitution? Polish constitution guarantees you freedom of speech. American constitution guarantees you freedom after your speech'
She had a series of questions to ask, and she allowed him to answer in full. It's not an interviewers job to have their opinions changed during an interview; they are there to conduct an interview. Funny how that point has completely floated over your head.
To be fair, the reaction (and conceding his points completely) also shows that they were open to hear what he had to say. I honestly can't even imagine an interview like this in America. If you drop one truth bomb, they "have just run out of time...thank you for being here"
Well that’s good. That’s how they should be: if the point is that the interviewed expert/celebrity/whatever person knows more about the issue or has more to say than the TV personnels then they should refrain from commenting to let the expert speak. I mean it’s not like their lack of reaction is intended to be hostile or to make him unable to proceed. They are just neutrally receptive to his message. I wish more tv shows would be like this
@@notinthemoodfornames8033 That's true it's better than inserting their own opinion or interrupting the guest. I guess I expect some form of inquiry, a conversation that can lead to both parties, and the audience to learn something new, that is what is missing to me. Their neutral stance is OK, it would have been better to have a discussion is all I'm getting at.
@@Ryan-gz6ym Believe me, it's not the public's decision! It's the only choice they've got due to the lack of democracy. Every time someone stands up for what's left of their rights, they are called biggots, racist or xenophobes, forced to apologise, get exploited, arrested and loose their job, no one wants that, and too many people are afraid to rise up. It's only a matter of time before other countries follow suit! Other countries who have a backbone will stand up and fight and guess what...get condemned, exploited and arrested. Different story, same ending. The house always wins my friend...enjoy what little is left of your freedom whilst it lasts. The clock is ticking...
We have plenty of English like him. Mostly in prison, arrested, threatened, sacked from their jobs, ostracised by their friends. Basically, just plain silenced.
You're right, she was respectful but didn't follow up with any probing questions. Probably because she knew he would skewer(metaphorically speaking)her.
@@tomt3536 I agree. I've no doubt most commenters read the clickbait title and decided they were going to hear him call out the BBC and in their minds, they did hear it. But I didn't. He was very measured and reasonable and the interviewer just asked questions without arguing a point. Nothing wrong with her questions or his answers.
@Wonder Not necessarily. These days all you'd have to do is 'identify' as a comedian. If anyone challenges that, then its a quick call to the police to report a hate crime and that'll teach them to be more tolerant. You'd just better hope that they don't claim to identify as a comedian also in order to escape punishment. God, the Left has ruined humanity.
@Tom W50 From tomorrow i will no longer be paying the TV licence and no more BBC. Get yourself a streamer and you can then watch catchup , youtube tv, etc from your tv. Take a look at at allstreamingsites.com for what you can watch - all for free.
@Tom W50 you can cancel legally on line. Takes 2 mins. You get any refund your owed. Then. Then.. They still hound you. Monthly. I invited them in to see I. Have dumped my tv. But they will send somebody every 6 months just to check. Haha. I'll never watch BBC or TV again. Saved the license money. Nxt year they start to Bully oaps.
I watched those TV license resister videos and I can't understand how anything coercive is being communicated by the government TV inspectors coming to the door and how anyone is getting angry about it. I think there must be one more level of adulthood we Americans are spared from having to grow up to.
@Flat Eric Just wanted to let you know that you are not alone. These people are morons and far, far gone. I am not sure how we can get them back to reality, but I am constantly battling them online and sometimes that can feel like the whole world has gone mad. So keep up the good work! Thank you for saying something! Have a nice day :)
I wish Sargon was used as a comparison. Especially when her incitement was referring to him. Plus comedians aren’t the only people licensed to tell offensive jokes. Free speech is for everyone. They are just the canaries in the coal mine.
I think it is better this way if you want to convince them of anything. They have a hatred of Sargon, and naming him will just put their mind in the trenches.
Plenty of legal precedence on free speech, which makes it constitutional. Problem we have is you can no longer get a jury trial and of course a jury, being of sovereign people, may overturn bad law. Which begs the question, if a jury may overturn statute, then how can Parliament be sovereign? Think about it.
Back in my day when we didn't like a joke. We just didn't go to any more of the comedians shows. We didn't scream victim And then try to get them fired or prosecuted. What has happened to this generation?
They feel they are self entitled without earning respect or experience. I’m a woman so I MUST be a victim mentality. Your opinion differs from mine, block you and make up a false claim and see you destroyed.
I don't know about the UK but the Yanks definitely did scream victim even "back in the day". Long hair was called 'communist' and hippies were the anti-christ. There were signs and protests against that there 😂😂
Munchetty was given a clear pass by Lord Hall after she made biased distasful remarks about president Trump which resulted in many complaints! The BBC is now clearly a left wing supporting organisation. Time for it's demise.
I really like this Konstantin Kisin guy after having seen him in several interviews. Even though he's described as a comedian, I haven't heard him say anything funny but he is SPOT ON when it comes to calling things as they are.
@Gaytony Well actually probably not, the BBC is meant to be a politically NEUTRAL organization and therefore people are annoyed about it. There are plenty of options for biased news sources to fit your own opinion but the BBC was always meant to represent everyone.
@@yungamurai The BBC is ran out of The Government Department Of Media Culture And Sport, and the World Service the Foreign Office. They are anything but neutral, and if this knowledge was more commonplace (as opposed to the BBC touting how unbiased they are), people would realise they were never really meant to be neutral, or represent everyone. They are state TV, hence why you're expected to pay a tax.
Very clear and very well argued. I can imagine the BBC production team getting really pi***d off with this interview. Must have been an interesting post show discussion. The BBC is in really desperate need of reform.
The BBC news operation should be de-funded. You should not get your news from the government. Let it sink or swim on its merits and vie for subscription and ad revenues.
Sanghoon Lee we joke all the time and you can’t dictate what’s respectful and kind because what’s respectful to one groups is not to another. Understand where your heart is on this but it’s not reality
If you had ever have been on the receiving end of violent crime or battery acid crime you would understand why this is anything but funny...it's very sad so many of you think it ok or a matter of free speech.
@Allan Dickman what should she have done here? I'm curious what your response would have been if she had gone off script and started asking her own questions. From your comment here I feel like she can't win. If she just sticks to the script she's displaying a lefty bias, but if she had asked and dug a bit further I feel like you would have just gone at her for being lefty bias.

We have returned to the days when comedians were arrested: Lenny Bruce, Richard Pryor, George Carlin. Now it's so-called liberals that crossed that line first. "Either it's all okay, or none of it is." - Kyle, South Park.

@@davydarkobob Well, the mentally insane Leftists are definitely in the majority in the U.K., not a minority there. And while I think it's fine to fight the good fight and push back, etc. the problem is that the U.K. has gone too far to be saved. Saving the U.K. would require very difficult choices that people on the Right seem unwilling to make. For example, deporting millions of people who have refused to integrate and share allegiance. Another difficult necessity, dismantling the welfare state. And on and on. Even people on our side of the fence do not have the will to perform the necessary remediation, correction, and repairs to save the U.K. Thank goodness, I'm an American. We still have a chance.

@FatalPies post a link from any credible source that shows that people who vote for right-wing parties are the majority in the U.K. Also, registered Democrats outnumber registered Republicans in the U.S. Don't call people retarded unless you have the facts to prove it. Did I not hear some sort of guffawing, as Mr Kisin was discribing the long litany of the things he was not allowed to joke about in some university? The cameramen, I presumed.
The loony left would watch a war film and complain it contains violence. Or watch an adult sex film and complain it contained fornication. If you get easily offended then be more selective about what you watch. Don't complain when others like something you don't. Hint for comedians. Accept the gig. Get paid in advance. Walk on and say "I'm here to tell jokes but your administration has banned them all. Good night." And walk out.
I hate the media tactic of never responding to anything a guest/interviewee ever says, so they don't get sucked into their losing and ludicrous arguments. Must be so infuriating!!
You don't understand the purpose of a media interview. Unlike in a talk show, that is not the forum for a debate. The interviewer asks a question, the interviewee answers. There may be a follow up but usually not. The viewer will have to decide how the interviewee performed.
@@overtheoverseer That's how it should be. A journalist should come across as "disinterested" as you should not be able to discern the personal opinion of the journalist.
At first I thought you were dyslexic 'apocryphal?' I stand corrected said the child to the paediatrician, your choice of word was biblically boring & archaic.
Unfortunately, the truth is it's been an apocryphal statement since before we were born. It's only now, despite the numerous warnings from so many over the decades, that the masks of the totalitarians have finally slipped off and we see them and their scheming for what they are, for what they have been for so long.
Agreed.... but it's a painfully slow process chipping away at them one interview at a time..... remember they have had decades to build themselves to where they are now...the tide is definitely turning though and brave commenters like this will help us break through......
That would most likely cause the argument to spin out of control and instead focus on 'rape' and individuals being the target of a joke/public reaction. Granted there is alot of cross over but I think there is alot more emotion tied to sargon that could cloud the discussion. Mentioning count Dankula and his pug might of been closer to point.
Should have mentioned Jo Cox, the MP assassinated by the Neo Nazi lunatic. Yes, incite hatred, insinuate that no violence is too much violence, it's all justified; it's a matter of statistics, once crazy moron will eventually come out and do the deed. Farage is more than justified in being outraged, considering he has been a victim of assault, and that acid attacks are a common occurrence in London.
I agree with Konstantin in all but one regard: he states “comedians” should be able to. I think this should extended to include everyone, akin to the constitutional protection provided by the 1st amendment of the United States.
