japanese person here and I wanted to mention a fun fact on the légendaires name! miraidon and coraidon is both named after time, future and ancient to be specific miraidon = mirai (future) coraidon = korai(ancient, past etc) the more you know

Man... Am i the only one who likes the designs? Koraidon's "wheels" arent actually wheels and is a air sac which is a thing that some lizards have. Koraidon is supposed to represent the past so obviously it wont have wheels. Miraidon on the other hand is futuristic pokemon. I really dont find it bad nor good because its literally just a pokemon but future. Pokemon fans really do be hatin everything lmao

I feel like Koridon is more alive and animal/ancient like it reminds me of the past while miridon gives me futuristic/robotic vibes and reminds me of the future. I definitely am choosing Koridon because I like the past more then the future!

The wheels on Kiraidon are more likely air sacks that help it float. I think the concept is how transport and the Pokémon changed over time, past Vs future, the concept makes sense even if the wheels seem misleading. I guess Donphan is the present Pokémon 😂

I think it'd be a pretty fun twist if koraidon and miraidon weren't the main game's legendaries after all, and were just really rare pokemon you obtain. Kind of like a urshifu, situation, where its labeled as a legendary but not at all like one and is hinted there are more of them from a far away region.

I like Koraidon the most because he has the torso of a motorbike and is basically, "Screw it! Leg powers activate!"

Listen, I don't care if normal pokemon or fuck, even mythical pokemon, are motorcycles, but making the BOX LEGENDARIES into fucking motorcycles? I hate that they did this, especially koraidon because what the fuck are the wheels even for then? If it just fucking runs and swims like normal? I really don't understand why they did this, if they wanted the legends to be rideable I would say almost any legend is rideable since most can fly and run and swim, or even just float places, there is for real no reason I see for them to be motorcycles. I would say it'd be more interesting to see regular looking legends doing stuff like this. The only problem is size which is easy cause like... just make them smaller. Imagine xerneas swimming, or even better, flying by just prancing in the air? Or some of the bigger legends just stomping around? That would be so cool

Heck if I know, but it probably boils down to making Moraidon really look like it took inspiration and was built to look like Koraidon in universe. If Koraidon didnt have the neck and tail circles, Moraidon wouldn't have been built with them in the pokemon world.

How can yall say Game Freak are running out of ideas when: Gen 1: Pokeball pokemon, magnet pokemon, a literal rat/butterfly/crab/snake/shrew/etc. Gen 2: mostly fish, bugs and cats/dogs Gen 3: 20% Pokédex being green pokemon, bugs, seeds and monkeys Gen 4: mostly plants and inanimate objects Gen 5: 40% of the Pokédex being green pokemon, Pokémon with something sharp coming out of their face/head, and pokemon holding/being inanimate objects Gen 6: flowers, plain animals, aliens and rock hands Gen 7: again, just plain animals and aliens, sandcastles and a pirate ship wheel Gen 8: pokemon that are literally just plain animals, plants and food Gen 9: oh no, bike pokemon? grow up. pokemon ideas are dumb/basic for a reason, the games are Pegi 3 for fucks sake.

Korai=Ancient Mirai=Future So since korai means ancient and back then people didnt have good tech like now so thats why korai uses his strength and mirai means future so miraidon is more to the future and with better tech and koraidon is in the past
