I'm sure many things will get better once your body gets used to its new environment, so don't feel too sad! You'll get comfortable with everything soon enough, and while you're restless you can perhaps start learning some Korean -- so you're ready for interactions and such once you finally get a chance to go outside and do things ^.^ The apartment looks lovely though! Haha if I went to Korea alone I'd walk around everywhere by myself and do stuff anyway, even though it's not a normal thing to do according to them. I lowkey wish I could impulsively get a teaching job as well and keep you company xD But **sending virtual hugs** I'm sure you'll do just fine! Get through this tough period, eat lots of fruits and veggies because the cold weather might not help your already fragile immunity system x'3 I hope you get well soon! Stay safe & healthy ♡♡
GamingBrowni I went on a two hour walk along this long stream, it helped a lot. It’s just stuff like going out to eat that seems quite strange to do by yourself 😩 thank you :)
Hi! I live in Japan right now, its definitely the pollution. I've been rocking a congested sinus for a while. Things got better after I got nasal spray, wore masks, got medicine from the doctor, and did some of those mist nasal treatments. T_T I hope you feel better soon! Also, how did you find your hagwon? I want to transition to Korea :D
Hey Lena I got some masks but then realized they’re way too big 😂 hopefully my medicine from home will help for now. I went through a recruiter, you can do some research to pick one that seems right for you. They help a lot with the whole process. And it’s funny cause I have it in my mind to maybe teach in Japan after a year here if I like it haha
*Sending virtual hugs* I know how hard it is to move to another country, I’ve experienced myself, but I’m sure everything will get better soon for you. Fighting!
Think of everything as an experience. Without this, you would have never known how it is to teach in South Korea. I hope you do travel the world and see what you place you prefer more (: don’t stress, everything will go smoothly and before you know it, you’ll know everything like the back of your hand. 💜 take care of yourself, beautiful! Everything happens of reason 😘😘
Oh my gooodddd I know that feeling of loneliness too well😭 I've never had many friends and it makes me sad that I can't go out and do stuff so you're definitely not alone
Thank you for sharing this kind of stuff with us! I'm sorry that you're not feeling well I hope you can start to feel better soon!! I think once you get more into the groove of your daily routines everything is going to be much easier. Proud of you!!! Have fun! You can always talk to us when your feeling a little lonely💜💜
Hey, I’ve been looking forward to your next video for quite some time now. I’m glad it’s here! I’m sorry you’re sick. I heard there’s been a bit of a pollution issue over there recently, so that might have something to do with it. I’ll be cheering you on from America! Love you.
some day I'm gonna try and move to Korea I just enjoy the atmosphere and all that yeehaw. but you're doing so good lol and youre such a mood we stan you queen
*sending virtual hugs* I hope you get better soon, also, your apartment is really nice(and with that tiny mystery door thing, I would get like super curious like as soon as I saw it and open it lol) Get better soon! *sends more virtual hugs*
I love you ...and proud of you ...and it's not a big deal...of course it will get better..!!!!화이 트인!!!!! A big fat virtual hug for you ...love you !!!!
Big hugs to you, sweet girl! I am soooo proud of you! I will be there in a year and we can get together and you will be so comfortable and can show me around. Lots of love, many. many virtual hugs. I am thinking of you!
Starting a new job, especially in a whole new country, isn't easy. Things will get better, 100%, it'll just take time. Don't stress about anything, stay positive; you're doing good 💜 Also, good luck on your first day! You'll do just great. For a possible video idea, you could always do a "What to pack for Korea". I'm sure living there is not the same as living in Canada, so letting people know what they need and don't need to pack for a job or a trip could be helpful.
I want to teach in korea, I think in 2 years once I get my bachelors I’ll be able to do the application for EPIK, and im so excited. I hope you get better! Virtual hug 😊😊
I'm so happy for you!! I hope everything at the teaching job goes well!! And I hope you make new friends so you don't feel lonely 💜 I'm so happy your doing well and having fun 😀💜
It’ll get better soon! I’m kind of like you, I am an ambivert, but I get shy when I’m not used to situations. I could never do what you did, even if I wanted to. (At least for now) So I’m proud! I really want to do what you are doing now, at least travel. I’m still trying to learn! OH! AND ALSO... *gives virtual hug* 💜💜💜 I love all your books on Wattpad, and hope I can someday write in the way you do! It’s very inspiring! Enjoy your time in Korea! I enjoyed listening. 💜💜💜
It's so cool that you found the courage within yourself to take on a challenge like this! I know you'll figure it out and you'll get accustomed to it. I think it's funny how you can't escape BTS in Korea, I never knew that lol. If you're sick, I suggest you stay inside and practice your Korean. But if you're feeling well enough, I suggest you go out and explore the streets anyways. You can window shop or walk around a park if you feel like it. After all, it is a new environment. EDIT: And if going out to eat by yourself is hard, order food. I don't know what kind of services they have in Korea for that, but it's what I would do lol. I will keep up with this and support you. I can't wait to hear what happens with your teaching!
your apartment's pretty nice (our windows are blocked by other apartments😅) and best of luck with the teaching in hagwon! and hope you get better soon. also there's a lot of air pollution rn so don't forget to wear masks (there's an app called 미세미세; it's helpful!)
I was thinking the mystery door was your emergency exit but @dakotaeater (My daughter) noticed the vents outside your window, she said it might be the heating system...
