Hi Helen. What is sweet rice flour ? Is it glutinous rice flour (sticky rice) or rice flour ? If I don't mix it with corn flour will it be crispy as well ? Thxs
WHEN i made this the outside layer was a good texture but tasted super dry and tastless should i add more oil and some spices to outside layer also i dont have any rice flour so i used just corn starch should i use some normal flour

Some sweetness to the sauce is nice, but two kinds of sugar make it too sweet. With the honey alone it's perfectly fine, no need to add brown sugar. I'd even skip ketchup (that on its own is half sugar) since the Korean chilli paste also has sugar in it.
Hi Einund! U can make it exactly how u prefer ur sweetness. Each person has their own unique palette when it comes to sweetness and saltiness. I personally prefer to have a combination of both brown sugar and honey as it also added to the texture of the sauce. Yes, there is some sugar in GoChuJang but it is more a salty taste than a sweet taste. No GoChuJang straight from the container tastes sweet. FYI - My Korean chicken sauce recipe uses far less sugar than the other recipes out there. No. The moment its baked, its not Korean FRIED Chicken. We dont bake fried chicken, unless we just wanna reheat fried chicken from the previous day. Sorry lady.

Hi MRBIG’S ASMR👋 I beg to differ. Chinese fried wings are absolutely delicious and are made in so many ways. I like the batter deep fried with just some peanut crumbs on them or the salt pepper fried with a wet batter that is served with no sauce. I haven’t come across fried Chinese chicken wings with Garlic-Soy Sauce or Spicy GoChuJang gravy sauce. BUT maybe I have been to the wrong Chinese restaurants here in San Francisco (SF has one of the best Chinese cuisines!). As for the Korean sauces for the fried chicken wings, these, too, are made slightly different depending on the family, restaurant or market u shop. Some make it a bit more tangy/vinegary, some make it way too sweet, some make it way too spicy and salty. So it all depends on one’s preference tastes and palette.
Hi Einund👋. As for the Korean sauces for the fried chicken wings, these are made slightly different depending on the family’s recipe, restaurant or market u buy the chicken wings. Some make it a bit more tangy/vinegary, some make it way too sweet, some make it way too spicy and salty. There is no golden rule on how it is suppose to taste exactly. And now, so many American cuisine restaurants are selling ‘Korean-Style Chicken Wings coated in sauces,’ and honestly, it tastes completely different from the wing sauces at Korean restaurants and markets.
