Learning to read was easy but reading at a normal pace will just take practice and work. I know Ill get better. I already know some Korean and now I can write it.
a month later, Me: hold on to your lollipops kiddos, just wait until you get to Consonant Assimilation....yep, the Borg take over your phonetics lessons.
It’ll get better with time, I used to put sticky notes around my house for both French and Korean ahah, Also there are text books aimed at vocab, although they are expensive :(
@@jamsforsale6767 konglish, they write an English word but with their letters, so when you read it you discover it's an English word but with their pronunciation... It's kinda frustrating
I can read Hangul but don't understand the word meaning. This helps with added words to the vocabulary. Hands 👐 hands up for the people who don't give up. #teamhangul
"Calm sa halm ni da" It'll be easier for you to do this. +++ I just wrote the pronunciation 'thank you' a little closer to Korean. My intention was for those who only wanted to pronounce "thank you." I'm sorry for the confusion. But I was for people who just wanted to pronounce it. not studing!!!
Bruh I just learned some of the Hangul constants and vowels and I have to take like 10 seconds to translate it 😭 I want to translate it faster like English but ig I have to practice over time. I have a question though. Once we know Hangul, next do we learn what the words mean or?
Bea c my family too and they keep asking why I learn Japanese I say it's korean KOREAN two days later they be like what is that Chinese? and I'm like why are people so ignorant can't you tell the difference 😤😤
I got to a point where I can read korean characters pretty fast, take a while for my mind to understand the correct pronunciation and a little bit more of time for me to remember what the word means so I think I am doing great!
📝 NOTE 📝 ㅓis eo ㅏis a ㅣis i ㄴ is n ㅇ sometimes used as ng ㅈ is J ㅁ is m ㅂ is b ㅐis ae ㅜ is u ㅗ is o QUICK ADVICE: WHEN THERE IS THIS LETTER ㅕㅑㅛㅠ the second line adds a Y to the letter so that means that ㅑmeans YA I HOPE THIS WAS HELPFUL TO YOU...!!! 😊 GOOD LUCK LEARNING KOREAN
Здравствуйте ✌️❤️ 너무 감사합니다 ~ this video was very useful, when i tried to read and learn Korean language ❤️ (i am from Russia🇷🇺, and i study English and Korean 💜)
@Rupinder Kaur lmao, I remember when Taehyung asked Jungkook once and namjoon asked for jimin in a fansign lmao. The friendship / brotherhood is so cute. 🥺
My reading hangeul has gotten a lot better thanks to trying to read BTS' lyrics while singing along. I also recognized some of these words ^-^ i know a lot more than I used to two months ago
@@butt3rcxp_572 haha that's a lot of thumbs up, wow! and I totally forgot how to pronounce the letters :P but thanks to your comment I found the video again after 5 years :D
Lol the one before that was sushi so when that came up I was like oh yeah that's definitely sushi roll and the and then I said frequently and I was tf??
I've been watching this three times now, getting more fluent each time. Gonna watch it a couple of times each day until I can read it all fluently. Thanks for the video.
I just discovered this channel, it helped me a lot !! i am learning korean 😁 and video lessons help me soooooo much!I am Brazilian, and as the classes are in English and Korean, they will give me the advantage of both languages. I don't know English very well so I hope you can understand 😅
When I read the Korean sentence for „kein Problem“ I was like, me dumb german girl reading a korean sentence that sounds like german is impossible And then I saw „kein Problem“ and I freaked out
This is great! For me, it's easier to learn how to pronounce the various alphabetical characters when they're included in actual words, not just abstract concepts. Thank you!
6:15 피 me: Haha “pee... I’m so immature” 피 = Blood Oh. Oh.. now I know that when English speaking people say pee.. then Korean people will think of blood. *Awesome.*
Wow. For years of learning korean alphabet, i can now read hangul fast. Soon to step up, hope to be able to understand and speak korean fluently someday.
I really like this, thank you! It helped me correct some badly learned pronunciation I had learned and taught me other new pronunciations. It also helped me practice using the rule that sometimes, if the symbol is at the end, it has a different sound. This was great! I really like it. I also really liked that you gave the translation to words as it went so I could learn new words while I practiced reading.
I think this is pretty good to study I guess you can say. I’ve memorized Hangul pretty well I just pause and have to say it slowly first but I’ve been watching the same video everyday and it’s been getting easier. So when it’s 100% memorized I move on to another video and so far that has helped A LOT I’ve memorized other words from other videos because of this method :)
I'm confused with the last letters of a word. Sometimes ㅅ sounds like "t"! But it's a very good practice video! I did surprisingly well except the last letters cause they sound different sometimes!
That's because when ㅅ is used at the bottom of the syllable it should be pronounced like 't' - that's a rule... 셋 sounds like 'set', and 샷 sounds like an English word 'shot' for example.
Hi! Can you plz give me a tip for this amazing journey of yours as I am a beginner too and need some tips for understanding as many words as possible...thanks you
I'm from the Philippines, I'm watching this in the middle of the night and the "gusto kita" suprised me while I said it while watching with my brother and I chocked on my saliva... Good video though, helped me improve
I remember finding this video about 3 month ago and understanding none of the words. Now I can read them a lot faster, and I understand about a fourth of the words!
Yeah, I should've written that as 앙샹떼. Sorry, but it sounded like 앙샹띠 in the video that I watched around back then - I should've watched different one, lol.
Wait I actually really liked this video. I learned some new vocab + reviewed some I had forgotten, all while practicing reading and training my mind to put syllables together
