Naw its just that most western games suck in recent years, there is very rarely any good ones, They cost so much to make because they focus too much on the graphics and they suck because there is not enough focus anywhere else. I mean if you do the math they have to sell an insane amount of copies of a game to even break even due to the initial costs, and its why they fill it with so much microtransactions as they know they most likely aren't going to get enough sales to break even. Like take a game that cost say 200 mil USD to make, its on steam for what 60 USD steam takes 20-30% of that, so lets say they take 20% here thats 48 USD. They have to sell 4.17 million copies total JUST to break even, nevermind making a profit this is just to break even, and we don't know if the budget costs devs give also include marketing costs, like advertising etc. If it does not, prob add another 500k-1 mil copies to break even, as advertising is not cheap.
