Both keyboards are very good according to the needs of each musician. I have the SX900, and for me it has been the best keyboard of arrangements that I have had so far, since its operating system is very intuitive, and its sound is of high quality. On the other hand, 2 years ago I had the Korg PA600, and although it is a great keyboard, its operating system is complex and you have to do more laps to access some function. Personally I consider that Yamaha is more versatile when it comes to playing live. I may be mistaken, but this has been my experience with both boards
I have a PSR A3000 and had all the PA’s and not to brag but I have every synth you can imagine including the Jupiter X and Moog 1, MODX and the new fantom too and this may sound unbelievable but the PSR sounds so good and so natural and has such options that you don’t get enough of it. It’s guitars, saxophones and almost every very difficult instrument, sounds so good that it shocks me every time I play. I’ll go with a PSR for sure. In fact my PA’s went out on my twice and took me 3-4 months each time to get them fixed. PSR! Genos.
Dobbiamo considerare che la PA4X è l'ammiraglia della KORG,la PSR SX900 la medio level della Yamaha,e c'è una differenza di prezzo di quasi duemila Euro.Con tutto ciò,la PSR SX 900,in tanti style è superiore alla KORG.Se poi fanno un paragone con la Genos,la KORG sparisce.
Awesome instruments both makes for a hard decision I am a Korg guy however I think the Yamaha might have it beat on sound quality. And I think that the styles are a bit better than the Korg. I really want to play them both my playing skills are similar to yours. However you are a bit quicker than me. Love your playing and these instruments 🎹!!!
For most styles, Yamaha wins by far, not only because of the quality of the style, but the sounds are so much better! However, for the third style, Korg almost won because of some sounds they used. For the 8th style, Korg won by far, mostly because the drum kit used for the Yamaha style is not that great. I was surprised when I heard the Room Kit used in a style. Yamaha's 9th style won by far over Korg. I really liked the solo they had at the beginning, it sounded so real!

People who underestimate Yamaha are not musicians. I have been a musician for 34 years. Yamaha and Roland are much better than Korg. Of course, they both have special abilities, but Korg did not have a sample.
Sono tanto indeciso tra questa e la KORG Nautilus... A me piace molto co porre brani musicali utilizzando molto il sequencer della tastiera. In passato ho avuto una PSR S970 e devo dire che aveva dei bei suoni e accompagnamento, tuttavia aveva un sequencer poco intuitivo. Questa nuova fascia di tastiere che sono modelli nuovi di quella che avevo io, non saprei se abbiano un sequencer più semplice e intuitivo. Comunque sia non saprei quale scegliere, anche della KORG be parlano bene, però io non ho mai avuto KORG, ho sempre avuto Yamaha. Un consiglio? Grazie
Buna ziua! La folklor ar fi interesant care este diferenta intre semplere! Eu detin korg pa 4 si sincer sa fiu nustiu de ce parca nu suna nici un tambal cum trebue po sa le reglezi pina tea esi mintile ca tot nu suna bine pare mise ca la yamaha suna mai bine mai pline. Daca e posibil un demo intre ele la folklor semplerele sa fie din mai multe seturi!!
Korg's drums have a better eq and punch. Yamaha's kick drums are lower in volume and bass. Yamaha's voices are better but not the drumkits. Maybe raise the volume of the drums in the edit section, change the equalization.
All day Yamaha is much better out of box play. But Korg is better who want to Tinker Tinker. Anyway Ideally the Flagship Korg PA4X must be Compared with Flagship Yamaha Genos
Yo pensaba lo mismo que tu... Pero ohh sorpresa!! Yamaha está sonando mejor en toda la gama completa de sonidos!! No lo puedo creer.. Sx900 suena más convincente. Como una banda real. Sus percusiones muy naturales..ya nada que ver con sus predecesores el s950 y anteriores.. Yamaha ha evolucionado. !! Y eso que yo soy fan de korg eehh. Ahora también yamaha esta moviendo más mis sentimientos..jeje. Yamaha sabe como hacerlo!
Io penso che yamaha abbia vinto quasi su tutto..i styles korg sono veramente poveri..yamaha e un passo avanti su korg..e poi troppa differenza su i prezzi.
Ok ....compare of what ?? Real orchestra vs both keyboards or Korg vs Yamaha. Well with real orchestra they both sound shit !! As for Korg vs Yamaha, Yamaha sounds more ''rich'' i should say right ???
