I'm using a cheep Hosa cables about 2 feet long, stereo headphone jack to mono jack for synths and one stereo headphone jack to two mono jacks, using this with volca sample only because it's only Volca that has Pan knob and true stereo out - not summing mono like all other volcas do. Works fine but I plan to make my own cables. Thank You! (:
How are you connecting the volca bass? I don't see the module plugged to the pedal. Pardon my ignorance but I just bought a volca bass myself to be connected to the 505 looper and my PA. I see you plugged the in sync to the headphones, why is that? Good job by the way!! Impressive
It’s an illusion, IN sync of Volca Bass connected to OUT sync of Volca Sample, headphone output of Volca Bass connects to MXR pedal Input, MXR OUT to mixer line in. Nothing special... And there’s no ignorance in asking questions, I hope it’ll help you.
@@malamadresweden9402 Sync IN/OUT transmits only pulse signal to sync instruments and no sound signal from the instrument, for that purpose there is the headphone OUT. Sync for synchronization only, headphone out for audio.
How would you compare the MXR to the Boss dist pedal that you also demoed? I'm thinking of picking up a VB and after hearing this would love to get this sound as well.
+Andrei Vinter They are so different, cant compare theme, you can hear the difference in the vid. MXR has badass sound and BOSS has nasty sound ) But I can say if I need the acid sound - Boss DS1 is my choose! If I need to kill highs and get a lot of lows I'll pick MXR. And - you can mod the Boss DS1 - mod kit for just 20$ on eBay. Cheers.
+Dennis Mozgovoy Yeah I noticed that with a lot of distortion the MXR dulls the highs a lot, and the Boss was more crisp. You're also right about the low-end on the MXR, I could feel it even through my small work speakers, I'll probably opt for the boss, thanks for the vids! I'll be sure to check out the other Volca Bass tutorials when I pick mine up
